I cannot think of a better way to immerse myself into Spanish culture than this tour. It was 5 1/2 hours of food, drink, architecture, walking, meeting cooks, shop owners and just plain fun. There were only 7 of us with an enthusiastic guide so every little question was answered. Worth every penny.

Andreina was an excellent guide and shared her knowledge of the local history and gastronomy. She took us through areas we wouldn’t have found on our own, and packed in so many special little stops and surprises throughout the tour. This tour was created by people who know and truly love food in Madrid. The Culinary Backstreet team put an incredibly thoughtful adventure together. On this tour, you will experience things you would never know existed as a visitor to Madrid. If you are a local, you will discover new things. Each stop was amazing. I felt like I was on one of those travel TV shows where as a viewer, you wish you could experience the food and local flavors. I did not want the tour to end. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, interesting and professional. If I could give this tour 10 out of 5 stars I would. I have been on other food tours, and this was absolutely the best.
