Wizard Walk of York - GAGNANT Meilleure visite et expérience de l'année

Experienced the Wizard walking tour this week (on one of the hottest days of the year!) with my family (husband, daughter (9) and son (6)) and we weren’t disappointed. Phoenix was engaging, funny and had the kids entranced from his opening appearance. Don’t expect a history or sightseeing tour or you’ll be disappointed. This is purely a fun, magical walk round York but we knew this when booking and were very happy with the experience. Expect great magic tricks for the kids and tonnes of puns for the grown ups!

Wow!! What a brilliant experience this is for young and old! He is absolutely fabulous with funny jokes, excellent tricks and it’s a lovely way to see York! Message to the wizard - “Jeff” loved it! 😜

We had a wonderful hour! Phoenix was very funny and kept everyone interested. Our 7 year old daughter loved it. Mum loved the owl ring.

✨ A truly magical experience from start to finish! ✨ The Wizard Walk of York was fully booked when I first looked, but I joined the waiting list and I’m so glad we did — getting a place was absolutely worth it. Our 6-year-old daughter was completely captivated the whole way through. From receiving her very own wand to learning and mastering the tricks afterwards, she was enchanted from beginning to end. It was wonderful seeing her imagination come alive and watching her proudly trot along next to Phoenix the Wizard. The walk itself was such a brilliant way to discover York. We were taken through hidden little corners and charming spots we may never have found ourselves, with plenty of jokes, surprises and clever tricks to keep both children and adults entertained. It was the perfect balance of storytelling, magic and exploring this beautiful city. A huge thank you for creating such a memorable experience, it’s the kind of activity that leaves children (and grown-ups) with magical memories. A definite must-do if you’re visiting York! 🪄

Fantastic tour today with Phoenix! My kids really loved this, they’re 7 and 10. The Wizard was excellent with children and had them totally engaged instantly. My 7 year old is a hard audience as well! Both laughed and smiled throughout. Great experience, I’d highly recommend.

Jonathan, the guide, was exceptional. Fantastic with children and my sister, a special needs adult, also very funny with the adults, jokes and entertainment value…top marks… the best visitors attraction on our stay in York. We’ve been on a few attractions, most very good but he really was great 😊 👍 Thank you

We just did the walk today at York this afternoon with he who calls himself Phoenix and it was possibly one of the best travel experiences that we ever had. Yes, it’s a walk around York taking in the sights of The Shambles, Yorkminster and all those really cool winding roads but sad to say, they possibly are second to none to the guide, I mean, Wizard, who made it positively such a memorable time. It may be a children’s walk but trust me, the adults are all suitably entertained with the tear-able pun-ny jokes that any editor worth their salt would have long torn the joke book apart already, I laughed until sides ached and my daughter, I was so happy to see, had such a happy smile on her face. This is a must-go.
