Very well run informative session with lots to taste! Lots of unusual flavours & toppings to choose from
What a great day out and amazing activity. We learnt a lot about chocolate. The guy running the course was really informative and supportive especially as we had young children with us. Highly recommend this to anyone to do! The end chocolate bars were amazing!
Well worth a visit. We had great fun and our tutor was full of facts about chocolate which was really interesting. Air con was heaven in the heat too. Plus we got to fetch away he chocolate bar we made each.
A friendly place with a lovely atmosphere. The chocolatier was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun
We really enjoyed this workshop. If you want more history or an intro to chocolate-making, I would suggest looking at one of the other options in York, but we had a great time and came away with delicious chocolate bars.
If you love chocolate and want to make your own bar with a choice of flavour, then go for it. Our teacher was knowledgeable and presented the whole process of chocolate making, starting with cocoa pods, in a very accessible way for all ages. It was great fun to make your own chocolate bar, choosing your own flavour, and a range of other treats added into the chocolate to design your own chocolate bar.
it was SO good. I was worried it would be just decorating chocolate , or just walking round the factory. but it was SO informational in such a fun and interactive way! perfect for any and all ages, the only thing i will say is i saw zero accommodations for wheelchairs since the tables were higher than normal tables and there were cables all over the floor BUT the staff were so lovely i bet they’d get something sorted in a jiffy. my partner and i bought a pack of chocolate truffles on our way out, hoping to be a special treat and we inhaled them after getting home they were so good. there were a possible 16 people there and it was very close knit and interactive, im very socially anxious and i still really enjoyed myself.
Excellent fun informative and very enjoyable
We had a chocolate making workshop with Sam. We were celebrating our anniversary and he was so amazing and insightful completely throughout the workshop and answered all our questions and queries. Really thankful and glad he made our day so special. Thank you so much Sam we will definitely be back next time we are in York!
Something different and nice to learn about chocolate. I did this with my 16 year old daughter and we enjoyed the time together
