Bob was informative & very friendly. He drove on smaller roads very safely to show places of interest. The minibus was comfortable & air conditioned (the weather was hot!). Plenty of time at each stop & made it clear when to return.

A nice day out in Yorkshire and good introduction to the area. The tour includes a variety of experiences from seeing ruined abbeys to walking the moors to a visit to seaside Whitby. Steven, our guide, really made the experience for me. His wit, charm and interesting stories livened up the driving portions and helped them fly by. My only change would be to make the train ride optional, as it was cute but wasted an hour that could have been better spent with a longer moor walk or more time in Whitby.

Fantastic all around. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and was a gifted storyteller. We stopped at multiple off the beaten track places- ancient churches, ruins, villages. This tour had it all for those wanting historical context and a trip to the Moors and Whitby on the sea.

A very good driver guide gave our small group a very enlightening talk of his childhood home and the surroundings moors. The steam train was a little weak but anything with steam is grand. Very good day

Beautiful tour through the North Yorkshire Moors to Whitby seeing lovely sites along the way. Ancient Byland Abby ruins, St Gregory’s Minster, and Blakey Bank overlook were all beautiful. David was extremely knowledgeable of the history and made the day very enjoyable. Would highly recommend.
