We are glad that we did it over rain season! Our group was small and more personal since most people wanted to avoid rain (did not rain during the day) The food was fine and there were places where they tried to sell us things but nothing we didn't expect The cenote and the ruins were the highlight
We apprecite that you shared this experience with us Tulum and Coba are perfect for anyone looking for a culture rich experience
After intensive research, we decided to go on this day trip because during our first holiday on the Riviera Maya in September 2015 we were surprised by Hurricane Grace, which claimed 8 lives about 70 km from our hotel in Tulum. That is why we have now made up for such a trip after intensive comparisons. We wanted a tour guide who should be able to speak English bilingually. Unfortunately our guide spoke almost only Spanish and especially during the bus ride we understood almost nothing about it. In addition, the cenote mentioned in the travel description was very important to us, but unfortunately another cenote was headed, which could only be reached through a narrow opening and a steep wooden staircase. It was artificially lit as there was virtually no daylight. This change of cenote, which was mentioned in the travel description as a possible event, disappointed us very much so that we can only assign one star as an overall score.
This reviewer did not experience our tour, the reviewer talks about something completly unrelated
I'd never even heard of Coba, and it was the most exciting part of the trip. Beautiful wooded area with ruins of ball courts and temples close up (as opposed to those cordoned off at Tulum). We rented a bike taxi, and the driver was a wealth of interesting information. Tulum and Ceynotes were also wonderful. Our time in Playa del Carmen was cut short due to other passengers not arriving at meeting points when directed. Our bi-lingual guides switched back and forth between Spanish and English so frequently that it was really difficult to understand them - and I do understand some Spanish. In Tulum I just gave up trying to understand.
There are places that we never heard off, but when we get to know them, we can't never forget them Thank you for sharing this adventure with us
This pretty standard tour is offered in both English and Spanish for the ruins at Tulum and Coba, as well as pleasant trip to a smaller Cenote afterwards. We didn't make it to Playa del Carmen on the day I went so time is a factor on this tour. I think it is a good option for a "taste" of each place and efficient, but some locations, such as Coba, are certainly worth more time in general. Otherwise, I was pretty satisfied.
Hello! We are going to take those things to improve the tour, thank you so much for sharing your opinion We hope to welcome you again soon!
Very cool to see some Mayan Ruins, and its much closer then Chichen Itza. The Cenote was by far the best part of the trip. Make sure you bring a swimsuit so that you can jump in off the top!! I suggest making sure you trade phones with someone because you will want a video of this! Omar who booked our tour was very helpful
we appreciate your time for leaving your comment about our tour. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed our tour and thank you for sharing your experience with us and for helping other travelers plan their tours
Why were we not taken to cenote dos Ojos like advertised? Why were we unnecessarily taken to a jewellery factory were clearly the purpose was to sell jewellery?
hi my name is Miguel juarez Im sorry for this issue , we are a new administration we are going to make sure this won't happen again .
Tour guides have inconsistent instructions on meet ups, sent us to another group, and didn’t answer any of the 3 phone numbers they gave us to call when we needed to find them, essentially a rip-off.
Hi my mane is Miguel Juarez Im sorry about this situation that happen to you , we are taking the new administration and making asure this does not happen again
Overall, the 1 day trip was nice. At times, since it is a guided tour, it feels rushed. The stop at Tulum specially was rushed. Not enough time to absorb the whole beauty of the place. What made this worse-and believe me, it was brought up to our guide- was a sudden, unexpected-for the people in the group- at a high end jewelry store, gold, silver, etc pieces. It felt pretty staged and uncalled for. We could have spent that half hour in Tulum. The rest of the trip was fine and we are glad we did it.
Too much in one day avoid if possible playa del Carmen is irrelevant. Two would have been much better choose another trip but the cenote and Tulum were wonderful Cobá was a nice nature walk. Do two of the three together any combination will be fun and not exhausting. Just needed more time in each place
My driver and my tour guide Were wonderful . We went to 4 places plus one extra gift shop . I forgot my tour guide name either is Gary or Eric . Very professional and when one of my friend is riding her bicycle in Coba , he make sure she is safe and he rode right behind her . Very responsible tour guide .
