We booked a skip the line tour to the fabulous Castle Neuschwanstein, leaving from Schwangau, Germany with A-Travel and we really loved it! Our fantastic guide Amir made it unforgettable. Thank you again Amir! He is such a great guide telling the history with such passion and joking around sometimes to keep your attention all the time! He made it an experience with tasting ànd a horsecarriage going back down the Mountain!

The day's visit was conducted by Stephen, who was very detailed about the history of the sights along the way and interesting stories, and carefully cared for each of the guests within the group. On his way to the Marian Bridge, he also did not forget to keep in line so that everyone could have a chance to see this world-famous attraction. Overall, I think the guide Steven is the most important soul character of the whole event and the key character that impressed me the most. Through his lectures, I could enjoy the whole trip and experience the fun of historical humanities. Highly recommended.

The guide gave us very precise information on both a historical and practical level. The tour flows very pleasantly thanks to the guide's fluency and their engaging and fun way of narrating. Several stops. First to the bridge where you can take an iconic photo, then we continue towards the castle (a very beautiful visit, thanks also to the guide's suggestions) to then arrive to enjoy a delicious Bavarian dessert, ending with a carriage ride to the parking lot. Amir is an exceptional and thoughtful guide. Definitely a recommended tour. (Family trip, 2 adults and two children).

Fantastic tour of Neuschwanstein Castle! Highly recommend A-Travel and a special shout-out to our guide Stephen Wendell! ​We were looking for a stress-free, fully organized tour, and we got exactly that—plus so much more! ​This tour included the shuttle bus up to the castle, the stop on Marienbrücke for amazing views, the entrance tickets to the castle, and we were lucky to also get the horse carriage down (not always available due to weather). ​While we loved the castle, the tour inside was shorter than expected because it can only be done with an audio guide led by castle employees, it is very precisely timed (~30min), and no photos are permitted. ​Therefore, Stephen made our trip so much better by layering historical facts and myths about Bavaria, the castle, and the king that built it. Stephen is a gifted storyteller and definitely enriched our experience even further. ​The instructions provided on our booking were followed precisely, and our guide conveyed the timings and directions very well. The overall trip took about 3 hours, we recommend booking the earlier slot to beat the crowds. ​Fully recommend!
