Embarquez pour cette visite qui vous montrera un peu de Pretoria City Tour avec Cullinan Gold Mine. Nous visitons Union Buildings qui abrite le bureau du président de l'Afrique du Sud puis nous nous dirigeons vers Kruger House Museum et enfin Voortrekker Monument pour faire connaissance avec l'histoire des afrikaaners blancs et le grand trek. Nous visitons également la mine Cullinan et apprenons à en savoir plus sur le processus d'exploitation minière et où ils trouvent ces diamants brillants.

Church Square, à l'origine Market Square, est la place du centre historique de la ville de Pretoria, Gauteng, Afrique du Sud. Le fondateur de Pretoria, Marthinus Pretorius, a déterminé que la place soit utilisée comme place de marché et cour de l'église
Kruger House est la résidence historique à Pretoria du leader boer et président de la République sud-africaine, Paul Kruger. Il a été construit en 1884 par l'architecte Tom Claridge et le constructeur Charles Clark. Le lait a été utilisé, à la place de l'eau, pour mélanger le ciment à partir duquel la maison a été construite, car le ciment disponible était de mauvaise qualité.
Le monument Voortrekker est situé juste au sud de Pretoria en Afrique du Sud. Cette structure de granit massif est bien en vue au sommet d'une colline et a été élevée pour commémorer les Voortrekkers qui ont quitté la colonie du Cap entre 1835 et 1854
La mine Premier est une mine de diamants souterraine appartenant à Petra Diamonds dans la ville de Cullinan, à 40 kilomètres à l'est de Pretoria, dans la province de Gauteng, en Afrique du Sud. Fondée en 1902, elle a été rebaptisée la mine de diamants Cullinan en novembre 2003 pour célébrer son centenaire
Les bâtiments de l'Union sont considérés comme le chef-d'œuvre architectural d'Afrique du Sud. Conçus et construits par Herbert Baker et achevés en 1913, les bâtiments de l'Union abritent les bureaux administratifs de l'Union d'Afrique du Sud.

My wife and I enjoyed this delightful day tour, starting from Johannesburg, of the Cullinan Diamond Mine and Pretoria highlights. Strongly recommended if you are visiting Johannesburg as it is easy to overlook the city of Pretoria, almost a twin city of Jo'burg. Pretoria, one of South Africa's capital cities, offers much history and a quite different city character. Our guide Marvin was excellent: not only courteous and very willing to adjust the tour to suit our interests but he also had a deep knowledge of South Africa's culture and history. It was great to have frank discussions with Marvin of South Africa's achievements and challenges. One point to note: visitors over the age of 65 will receive a health check before touring the Diamond Mine. You may be refused entry if you have health issues e.g. high blood pressure.
Marvin was an excellent, knowledgeable, and professional guide. He made the day move quickly, and really knew his subject. I highly recommend this tour.
My wife and I went of this tour with Marvin with African Moja and had the best experience. Marvin was very knowledgeable of South Africa history, Johannesburg and Pretoria. Our First stop was the Cullinan Diamond Mine where we were led on tour by a mine engineer who had in depth college of the mine and its work processes. The tour was over 2 hours and very comprehensive. Marvin continued the tour by driving to Pretoria where we drove past the President’s and Vice Presidents homes. We ended up at the Union Buildings where they each have large offices. There were lovely gardens and a huge statue of Nelson Mandela. Next we went to Paul Kruger’s home for a tour and finished at the Voortrekker Monument. Martin gave us a very detailed explanation of the history behind the monument and the panels inside. It was a great way to wind up the day. I can’t recommend Marvin enough.

This full day tour is a well-packed and well-organised tour. The Cullinan mine was the highlight of the day for us, but our 'Pretoria experience' was perfect as well. Our guide, Michael was helpful and informative. He did his best to make that day enjoyable. At the end of the day you will be richer in your mind and soul. You will meet history of South Africa and you will be involved into formation of today's South Africa. You will understand more and deeper the country (not only diamond mining:-). Highly recommended. It is not worth missing.
This was a very pleasant experience, eventhough it was raining. Our guide Gabriel was very kind and explained very well. We visited the mine first, where we saw replicas of famous diamonds and learnt about the plant and the process of extraction, and then we did a quick visit to Pretoria, stoping at the war memorial, the Paul Krueger house and the president's office. The only thing I regret is that there was no time for lunch, so we were starving by the end of the tour. Other than that, everything was very good and interesting
