Le Lion & Safari Park se trouve à 30 - 45 minutes en voiture de Johannesburg, dans le berceau historique de l'humanité. C’est une aire de conservation protégée qui abrite plus de 80 lions, dont les célèbres lions blancs qui ont joué dans le long métrage de renommée internationale « Le Lion blanc ». Il abrite également des guépards, des hyènes, des chiens sauvages, diverses antilopes et une tour de girafe apprivoisée. Le Lion & Safari Park offre aux clients une expérience de mini-safari agréable dans une zone exempte de paludisme. Explorez plus de 600 hectares de l’habitat naturel des lions à bord d’un véhicule safari spécialisé avec un garde-chasse professionnel. Apprenez-en plus sur les lions et les autres animaux sauvages dans le parc safari et profitez d'une matinée ou d'un après-midi à la campagne.

Itinéraire
Après la prise en charge, nous nous dirigeons vers le Lion & Safari Park, situé au nord de Johannesburg dans le berceau de l'humanité. Après un bref exposé sur la sécurité, vous partirez pour un safari de 2 heures dans l'enceinte des prédateurs à bord d'un véhicule de safari ouvert spécialisé. Retournez au centre principal pour passer un peu de temps à observer les jeunes lionceaux et autres animaux. Vous pouvez acheter quelque chose à manger et à boire au restaurant Wetlands (à vos frais) et les plus jeunes peuvent jouer en toute sécurité dans l'aire de jeux surveillée. Entrez dans le 5 Dome Shopping Experience pour une virée shopping des Fêtes. Vous trouverez une large gamme d’art et d’artisanat africains, de bijoux, de vêtements et d’articles pour la maison d’origine locale. Après un agréable moment au parc safari, votre guide vous ramène à votre hébergement à Johannesburg.

I had a great experience at the Lion & Safari Park. It was the perfect half-day trip from Johannesburg and a great way to experience South Africa’s wildlife. The park is well organized, the facilities are clean, and everything ran smoothly. We saw lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, zebras, and several other animals, and our guide shared interesting information throughout the drive. A special thank you to the driver, Lebo, who was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. He made the experience even more enjoyable with his positive attitude and excellent service. I would definitely recommend the Lion & Safari Park to anyone looking for a well-organized wildlife experience close to Johannesburg

Great day …had a 2 hour truck ride around the park . Saw prides of lions, including white lions. Saw zebras, wild dogs, hienas,and fed the giraffe.

My adventure began when Nicholas picked me up at my hotel. He was so kind and had a great sense of humors, putting me at easy right away as a solo traveler. When we got to the park he took us to the ticket booth and helped us get acclimated with directions. The tour itself was unreal. Being so close to lions was an experience I never thought I’d have. Our guide Masan, was full of interesting facts, funny anecdotes and gave each of us the very best experience. He took pictures for me and helped create memories I’ll have for ever. I loved this experience and wish everyone had the opportunity to go.

Highly recommend this tour! The transfer service was easy and the guide was very knowledgeable. The park was beautiful, and had a coffee shop, connivence store and restaurant. We were able to see so many animals during our drive. Def worth the trip if you are staying in Johannesburg.

This was a Very Informative and Educational experience. One gets to see the animals at a relatively close distance. Dusty, the tour guide, had many things that she had learned over 11 to 12 years of working there.
