Rencontrez votre guide local et expert de la région, à 12:00, devant l'Office de Tourisme d'Epernay. Votre parcours débute sur l’emblématique Avenue de Champagne, où vous découvrirez certains des domaines les plus prestigieux de la région. Ensuite, arrêtez-vous dans les vignobles classés au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO pour en apprendre davantage sur la riche histoire de la viticulture champenoise. Profitez d’une promenade dans le charmant village de Hautvillers, où est enterré Dom Pérignon, et admirez des points de vue époustouflants parfaits pour de belles photos. Vous serez ensuite accueilli dans un domaine champenois pour un délicieux déjeuner accompagné d’une sélection de Champagnes. Par la suite, visitez une maison de Champagne familiale pour découvrir leur processus de vinification unique. Après une journée riche en découvertes et en expériences mémorables, votre guide vous déposera à 16h45 à l'Office de Tourisme d'Epernay.

Be advised that you don't know in advance which champagne houses you will visit and you have no options. The places we went offered tastings, but the quality was sub-par. The guide Thomas was informative and polite. The vehicle was crowded with a maximum number of people. We started 30 minutes late because we were waiting for 2 people. We were late finishing and, although Thomas offered to and did drive us to Reim train station, we had already purchased our train tickets from Eperney and wasted our money. Because we were late we missed the chance to see sites in Reim. Overall, it was a nice day, but I wouldn't recommend this particular tour. Viator can and should do better.

On the champagne houses, we are unable to confirm the names of the producers in advance as visits can change at the last minute depending on availability. This is part of what keeps each tour fresh and authentic. On the drop-off, we are sorry for the confusion between the Epernay and Reims pick-up points. Had the most magical experience on this tour! Jerome was our tour guide, and he was absolutely delightful and informative. The day was extremely relaxed, the tours of the cellars and vineyard were beautiful, and the lunch paired with champagne was incredible. Hands down, the best part of our trip to France!

This was an excellent tour as we went to small wineries and met the owners who run the business. Our guide, Jerome, was knowledgeable, and personable. It was a little expensive and well worth it. The lunch we had was fantastic, the staff friendly and fun.
