Tour Minas de Moray y Sal con visita textil en Chinchero |Privado|
Descripción
El tour comienza con el recojo del hotel para luego realizar un viaje de 1 hora y 20 minutos hasta nuestro primer lugar de visita, durante el trayecto apreciaremos nevados, lagunas, campos de maíz y papa. El primer lugar Moray (laboratorio agrícola) donde podemos apreciar terrazas andinas en forma circular y que están talladas en las profundidades de la tierra, en forma de cuenco, sirvieron para adaptar los productos a los diferentes climas. Después de la visita a Moray nos dirigiremos a “Salineras” o “sal de Maras”, este pueblo es conocido antiguamente como un centro productor de sal y se cree que data de tiempos pre-incas. Podemos encontrar más de 3500 salinas talladas estratégicamente junto a la montaña y que son rellenadas por canales de agua. Ya de regreso a la ciudad del Cusco pasaremos por un pintoresco pueblo “Chinchero” cuna del arcoíris, este pueblo se caracteriza por que aún se conserva la técnica textil andina.

Encontramos el sitio arqueológico de Moray, que es un centro de investigación agrícola en Inca, donde se adaptan los productos a diferentes climas con un sistema de terrazas.
Visitaremos la ciudad de Maras, también conocida como la ciudad de los portales, ubicada en la provincia de Urubamba a 3300 m.a.s.l. Ubicado a 52 km de la ciudad de Cusco. Alberga las minas más importantes del período inca, siendo explotadas desde el principio hasta el presente.

Christian was a wonderful tour guide. He shared detailed historical facts and current events about Moray and Msras. He was patient and answered every question we had. Our driver, Wilson, even stopped at a pasture for us so we could take photos of the alpacas and llamas (that was not part of the itinerary).
