Nuestro recorrido de jazz está guiado por músicos, coreógrafos, productores y directores locales que forman parte de la comunidad de artistas de Nueva Orleans. También son nativos, historiadores orales, embajadores culturales y conservacionistas. Únase a nosotros y explore la evolución de la música en la ciudad conocida como "la cuna del Jazz". Hogar de Louis Armstrong, Buddy Bolden, Sidney Bechet, Louis Prima y Sharkey Bonano, solo por nombrar algunos. . Te guiarán a través de los últimos sitios que quedan donde reinaban el jazz, el champán y el romance. Itinerario
El recorrido comenzará en el parque Louis Armstrong. Los viajeros visitarán los primeros monumentos a los pioneros del Jazz y las primeras salas de baile donde reina el Jazz. Escucharán las historias de pioneros del Jazz como; Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Charles "Buddy" Bolden y otros íconos del jazz.
Los viajes visitarán el Museo del Jazz de Nueva Orleans o el primer museo de Jazz en el Hotel St. Pierre donde se alojó el GRAN Louis Armstrong cuando actuó en Nueva Orleans.
Los viajeros explorarán los terrenos sagrados de la Plaza Congo donde se dice que se descubrió el origen del Jazz, además de presenciar el barrio afroamericano más antiguo del país, Treme.

My wife and I were the only ones on tour. Learned a lot about New Orleans jazz and its beginnings. Viewed present Jazz Museum and site of new one being built. I wanted to visit some actual clubs and hear jazz if only for 10 to 15 minutes at each club.

Harris was an amazing tour guide! Very personable and inspiring. He knew all the hot spots to go to see live music. His after the tour text had all the stuff we talked about and a lot of useful information. The only thing I wish we did, not negative, was to do the tour when we first go here, not the night before we left. 😊 (we will just have to go to the places he mentioned in the tour on our next visit)
