Yvonne did an excellent job! She had a good sense of humor and kept our attention throughout. We learned a lot of fun facts and historical bits that we’re grateful for. Would highly recommend this tour!
Great walk through a beautiful neighborhood. Our guide Lesley was very knowledgeable about the area, and she kept the group engaged, and in the shade!
Thank you so much for this fantastic review! Lesley deserves praise for her knowledge and storytelling abilities, but also for her ability to find shade! The Garden District is such a special neighborhood and is a must-see for every visitor to New Orleans. Thank you for choosing us to show you around! Libby
Libby was great! So knowledgeable and passionate about new orleans. Great mix of stories and history. We took a few tours in NOLA and this was one of the best!
Booked this tour on a whim last minute as I had an unexpected free afternoon and I’m glad I did. The small group tour was lead by Erin, who was wonderful. She was a wealth of knowledge of the area, from the history to the architecture. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the garden district.
Thank you so much for this fantastic review! Erin has a deep love for the Garden District, and she’s super smart and a great storyteller. I’m so happy that you decided to come uptown and explore this beautiful neighborhood with us. Please come again! Libby
We were able to learn so much about the history of the garden district from someone local! It was fantastic.
Thank you so much! We are indeed passionate locals who love to tell the stories of the beautiful neighborhoods of New Orleans. While the architecture of the neighborhood is the primary feature of the Garden District, it’s the history and the stories behind the houses that make it even more impressive. We are so happy that you made the trip uptown to walk with us. Please come again! Libby
Wonderful walking tour! Libby from Lucky Bean Tours was a very knowledgeable, fun and spirited tour guide. and made the tour an enlightened experience, New Orleans is built on a wealth of history not just in the French Quarter but in the Garden District as well.

Excellent tour. Libby has extensive knowledge about any aspect of the Garden District that you can ask her. A multi-generation true NOLA local, her knowledge of the City and Garden District comes from her lived experience, not just books. While appreciating the beauty of each home, she shares the history (and gossip) that brings it to life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour. A+++++++
Wow, thank you so much! We appreciate the review, the recommendation, and the super high marks! We do love sharing our knowledge of this lovely neighborhood. We do study a lot, but we’ve all lived it, and we are careful to choose the stories that give our guests the truest understanding of the culture of this fascinating place. I hope that you return to New Orleans and walk with us another day. Libby
