On what had to be the hottest day in August, we went on the 2pm ride with our 3 grands under the age of 4! We had a great time and our narrator/historian was excellent! I think his name was Charles and he definitely made it worth it!
Great! Brunch was excellent! Waitress/ bar staff top notch! Super friendly and personable, shared many laughs! Views were excellent and seats plentiful, had a great time! Music was excellent!
If you want to learn about the history of New Orleans, this cruise is for you. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We rode an hour down the river to stop for an hour at a fascinating battle ground. The guide was funny, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history of New Orleans. The boat slowed going by the sugar mill to show the movement of raw sugar to the mill, as well as the merchant marine ship. The rain was refreshing and beautiful. All in all, a spectacular informative cruise.
Wonderful trip! The food was good but the commentator is what truly made the cruise memorable. Staff was friendly, and the stop at the battle field was informative.
A nice tour with a bit of history. A comfortable cruise on the Mississippi. It was nice to have the option to be out on deck or in the main room.
This was a great experience. The staff was nice and the food was great.
We went on the Creole Queen Historic Cruise as a family of 4 and sat outside under some cover from the sun as it was over 100F with the humidity. The length of the tour was around 2.5 hours, which also included a visit to the battlefields. The history of the Battle of New Orleans was really interesting, and being English, was something I wasn’t aware of. It was good to be the bad guy in the story! The staff were all friendly and Doctor Lauren Tarantino was an excellent guide who narrated the battle detail as we floated down the Mississippi.
Very nice cruise down the Mississippi. I would recommend this trip to others! The food was good, and the drinks!
Easy to obtain tickets but no sign at venue that you must get paper ticket as phone ticket is not usable. After you are in line wit your phone ticket. Ride was very short not enough things to see needed more time.
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear purchasing your tickets was easy, but we're sorry there was confusion during check-in. For guests who book through Viator, the voucher includes instructions to exchange it for a boarding pass at our ticket booth adjacent to the boat before boarding. We appreciate your comments and will review how we can make this process even clearer upon arrival. Our Historic Cruise is approximately 2.5 hours in length, including the stop at Chalmette Battlefield. We're sorry to hear the experience felt shorter than expected and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We hope to welcome you aboard again in the future
