Desde Cusco: Moray, Maras Minas de sal y tejedores de chinchero Medio día

Esta excursión de medio día a Moray y Minas de Sal le permite adentrarse en una parte del Valle Sagrado, en hermosas tierras de cultivo a las afueras de Cusco y cerca del antiguo pueblo andino de Chinchero. Visitará los siguientes sitios: Centro Textil Andino en Chinchero, Moray, pueblo de Maras y minas de sal.

Itinerario
Lo recogeremos de su hotel entre las 8:20 am y 8:40 am y nos dirigiremos a Chinchero ubicado a 3,762 metros de altura.
Apreciaremos el mercado tradicional, donde practican el trueque, visitaremos el taller de tejido allí los lugareños que aún practican la tradición QUECHUA, nos mostrarán cómo obtienen los colores de las plantas naturales y podrán tomarse lindas fotografías vestidos con trajes andinos. ropa (En este punto solo visitará parte del pueblo de Chinchero y un centro textil andino.)
Continuamos hacia MORAY ubicado a (3,450m/11,318ft) donde encontramos las terrazas agrícolas con su complejo sistema de riego y terrazas, diferentes niveles de terrazas están talladas en un enorme cuenco, parte del cual fue excavado aún más por los Incas, Se cree que fueron utilizadas por los Incas para descubrir las condiciones óptimas de crecimiento de sus cultivos, estas terrazas servían como un invernadero natural para cultivar una extraordinaria variedad de cultivos a una altitud normalmente no propicia para los cultivos, los Incas estaban muy avanzados en el conocimiento de la creación de subclimas específicos.
Luego nos dirigimos a las Minas de Sal, en el camino veremos el Pueblo de Maras donde aún se conserva su belleza arquitectónica colonial, verá las construcciones son de piedra delgada, luego nos trasladamos a Salineras, la mina de sal consta de 3000 pequeñas piscinas, cada tres días, durante la época seca, los trabajadores llenan las piscinas con agua salada que proviene de manantiales naturales, este lugar fue trabajado desde la época preinca hasta la actualidad, la sal es molida, tratada con yodo, envasada y enviada a diversos mercados de la región.
Finalmente, regresará a Cusco (alrededor de las 3:15 pm cerca de la plaza de armas) a tiempo para disfrutar de un almuerzo por su cuenta.

Te recogeremos entre las 8:20 am a 8:50 am, depende de la ubicación de tu alojamiento. Un día antes coordinaremos la hora exacta de recogida, si estás fuera del lugar de recogida podemos recogerte en la plaza de armas (plaza principal de Cusco). Nuestro personal preguntará por ti en recepción.

The view with Ruben and Jaime was wonderful! Ruben is very passionate about explaining everything that surrounds us, not just the places visited, but also the culture that surrounds us in these places, you can see that he really likes what he does! The bus trip was calm, Jaime is an excellent driver! Two people during the trip were not feeling well due to altitude sickness and Ruben and Jaime helped them a lot, with agua florida, blankets. The proposed activities are very interesting and the local inhabitants and the businesses are very kind and helpful! Highly recommended
An excellent tour that looks at three interesting areas. The textiles demonstration in Chichero was brilliant and a real surprise - the family working there were wonderful hosts and it was really interesting to see the traditional techniques used to spin, dye and weave. The visit to the salt mine was also really interesting. Only suggestion would be to include a lunch stop as it’s definitely more of a whole day rather than a half day trip, leaving at 8.30 and returning at 3.30

The tour was spectacular, the guide Hipólito was very charismatic and kind, he was always attentive to whatever you needed and was very interested in making sure you learned about the history. Very organized and everything on time, I would definitely recommend this tour.

Hipo did a fantastic job leading the tour. I loved the salt mines, agricultural site, and the weavers. If you’re interested in purchasing authentic Peruvian textiles keep in mind they accept credit card as well. Never felt rushed at all. Highly recommend this service to anyone as a day trip from Cusco (it says half day but it’s pretty much a full day).
