Es un día impresionante de caminata en la Cordillera Vilcanota, "que está muy cerca de la montaña más alta y sagrada del sur del Perú llamada el Ausangate (6.377mts). Este "Apu" portador de vida es el Guardián de uno de los ecosistemas más prístinos del mundo. Así, nuestro paseo estará acompañado de picos nevados, glaciares, manadas de llamas y alpacas. Esta caminata ofrece una selección de vida silvestre y paisajes muy impresionantes. Esta será probablemente una de las mejores cosas que verá en su visita a Perú. El Valle Rojo es un paisaje impresionante ubicado cerca de la Montaña Arco Iris en Perú. Destaca por sus intensos tonos rojizos, resultado del alto contenido de hierro en el suelo, y ofrece una experiencia visual única rodeada de montañas y naturaleza andina. Es un destino ideal para los amantes del trekking y la fotografía.

Itinerario
Te recogeremos en tu respectivo hotel a las 4:30 AM, para luego comenzar nuestra increíble aventura conduciendo 2 horas en nuestra movilidad por el Valle Sur hasta llegar al pueblo de Cusipata.
En Cusipata, disfrutaremos de un delicioso desayuno buffet. Una vez que todos terminemos, continuaremos nuestro viaje hasta el sendero (4.326m / 14.189ft.) donde se darán los últimos tramos para finalmente comenzar una caminata de aproximadamente 2 horas para una subida moderada. Aproximadamente a las 10:30am, llegaremos a nuestro destino llamado Vinicunca o la Montaña Arco Iris (5,020 m / 16,466 pies). Aquí tendrás tiempo suficiente para disfrutar de este paisaje único que de la geografía. Si desea visitar el Valle Rojo, tenga en cuenta que es opcional. Si desea visitarlo, debe informar al guía antes de comenzar la caminata. No hay costo adicional para hacer esta caminata, pero la entrada al Valle Rojo no está incluida. Después de nuestra visita a la montaña de colores regresaremos al punto de partida, donde nuestro transporte privado nos estará esperando para llevarnos de regreso al pueblo de Cusipata, donde disfrutaremos de un delicioso almuerzo buffet, y después de un breve descanso emprenderemos el viaje de regreso a Cusco llegando aproximadamente a las 4 : 30 pm.
Cuando regreses, la movilidad te dejará alrededor de la plaza principal.

The tour with Wally was awesome, very helpful, attentive and communicative!
Best tour we did in Peru so far! They were super professional in every aspect. Our guide Wally was super knowledgeable and very nice and supportive. The 1,5h hike up to the rainbow mountains was very steep and hard at that altitude, but if you take it slow it is doable. There is also a possibility to go by horse. Wally always made sure everyone was alright and helped with medicine or oxygen if necessary. The van in that picked us up in the morning at 04:30AM was the first one where I wasn’t freezing on board and was very comfortable. The breakfast and lunch were super elaborate and very tasty! The best buffets we’ve had in Peru so far. Overall a really nice tour definitely worth booking!
Everything was good! The tour was nice, the guide Wally was fun and experienced, the launch buffet was amazing. Price was also great. Overall, 10/10. Recommended!

I had a great trip to the rainbow mountain and red valley with the lovely Jonathan as our guide. He let us hike at our own pace and checked in to make sure we felt okay with the altitude. The breakfast and lunch buffets were really good and of course, the views are incredible! Would highly recommend.
Excellent experience. We traveled with two children, and riding on horseback made the journey much more manageable. Even so, the last few meters to the summit were quite challenging due to the altitude. Jonathan was an exceptional guide, always attentive and willing to help at all times. The organization of the tour was excellent, and we felt very well taken care of. Without a doubt, the effort was completely worth it: the views of the Seven Colored Mountain are spectacular and unforgettable.
The hike was amazing! Definitely intermediate level in my opinion but the altitude also affects a lot, the tea worked wonders! Johnathan was a great guide and made sure no one was left behind!
