The weather was terrible to do this walking tour, felt we did not enjoy the tour as much since it was walking and outdoor and with the rain it was hard to do. The guide was great!
Barbara was a fantastic guide. She was very knowledgeable about Bologna and its history. As we went along, she also engaged with locals about current happenings that we were curious about, which was very interesting. Her orientation to the whole city, with tips for shortcuts along the way, was extremely helpful to me later on as I toured on the city my own.
My husband and I really enjoyed this walking tour with friendly and kind Gabi. Gabi showed us so much that we never would have seen on our own, nor known the history behind. We love off-the-beaten-path experiences that make us feel connected to a city and this tour really hit that mark for us. Thank you, Gabi, for a really unique experience, for the best pizza we had during our entire stay in Rome, and for the excellent restaurant recommendations, which we took advantage of as well! Grazie!

Three hours well spent, taking the tour with Isadora allowed us to learn the highlights but also some detailed information on each of the Bologna’s attractions, this walking tour was a great decision.i
This tour made all the difference to our first experience of Bologna. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Our tour guide Barbara was so knowledgeable and we learnt so many things we could never have found in a guide book or on a regular tour. Excellent.
Frederik was kind enough to fit us in on a national holiday and accommodated our time request. He tied together Bologna's history with its landmarks. He recommended places to return to during our stay, including dining recommendations. The tour concluded with a visit to a enoteca con gastronomia with a nice selection of Bologna wines.
Guide Frederick was knowledgeable and native to Bologna. He grew up in Bologna and has deep knowledge of the arts, classical music, and Opera that helped to enrich our experience.
Mario was amazing. The tour was detailed and he went out of his way to teach us the history of Bologna. Some tours are good and then there is the occasional great tour. Mario was great!
