Caminata Salkantay de 5 días a Machu Picchu

We booked the Salkantay Trek for 4! days. Communication with Katia from Chullos Travel was excellent even beforehand. Unfortunately, we booked the trek too late and were not granted access to Machu Picchu in the morning, but Katia did everything possible to ensure that we could go to Machu Picchu in the afternoon. She also reorganized the return trip to Cusco perfectly for us. Our guide Jimi knows the country and its people very well and made our trek unforgettable. Thanks to Katia and Jimi, we will never forget the time.

The chef and guide were amazing. The amenities like tent and sleeping bags could have been better, try to upgrade it for dome/constructed tents. Chef : Nasario was amazing Guide: Jimmy Perez was great.

in conclusion, I had a wonderful and excellent experience with Chullos Travel Peru, from the online reservation to the last minute when I arrived back at my hotel in Cusco. I contacted the sales advisor, she was very kind as she helped me with all my questions I had, she provided me with a detailed itinerary and everything she needed to make the decision to reserve very easy. The sales team contacted me immediately via email and confirmed all other additional details. The hike itself is beautiful with a variety of landscapes from snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and forests. The accommodations provided were beyond amazing and unique. The food is another story here, the chefs cooked delicious food and did not repeat any dish during the whole trip! Different meals every day and they have accommodated all my requests for special meals. Our guide Jonas went above and beyond to make me and the whole group happy! I can't say enough words about how he knows all the history, dynamic, loving his Peruvian culture. I want to thank Jonas for making this a special and unforgettable experience in Peru. Amazing trip and highly recommend. The attention and information that Manuel gave us was professional. Always worrying about the group and its members. Always with good information for the trip and with a contagious vibe. From the first moment he united the group and he only dedicated himself so that we can all enjoy the experience. One of the best experiences of my life!. The guides Moises and Mercedes were by far the best guides we have ever had, two very good-hearted and super experienced people. They have managed to take our group in an excellent and coordinated way! Accommodations, food, etc all amazing. Beyond being able to meet Machu Pichu, the first days were for me one of the best as you dive both into the jungle and the mountains. I will prepare for a next hike of Inca Trail 5 days. My parents and I did the Salkantay Trekk 5 days and it was fantastic!. The scenery and road were amazing. In a single day you could go through really varied environments. We found hiking appropriately challenging and there were options to help overcome any challenging parts. Our guide, Moses, was dynamic. He was pleasant, humorous, well organized and had excellent communication skills to always keep the group informed and aware of the immediate and future stages of our day. He shared his knowledge of the area, culture, meaning with us, encouraged us to ask questions and broaden our understanding: he is clearly an experienced and passionate guide. He did his best to take numerous photos and videos to show us before our return to Cusco! The rest of the staff were also exceptional: they were multi-talented and helped create a wonderful Camping Mood, prepared and served delicious meals. Doing this Trekking was really amazing, beautiful landscapes, valleys, hills, snow, jungle. Everything in one package. Great guide, super recommended 100%.
