Exciting elements, fantastic guide (Gustavo - GusGus), interessting informations about nature and culture, great team with including teenies and the slow ones. Hardly recomanded!
I spent 4 days trekking to Machu Picchu with Vicente as our guide, and I honestly couldn’t recommend him enough. He was incredibly knowledgeable, always happy to answer questions, and so kind and encouraging throughout the trek. The tour was fantastic value for money and included far more than I expected. Every day was completely different, with amazing scenery, interesting history, and new experiences, which kept the whole journey exciting from start to finish. We were also really lucky with our group, everyone got on so well, and Vicente created such a great atmosphere. Without a doubt, this was the best guided tour I’ve ever done. 10/10. if you’re thinking of doing the trek to Machu Picchu, I hope you get Vicente as your guide!
An unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience! Everything exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Vincente, was absolutely amazing and took such great care of us throughout the trip. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture and shared everything with so much passion, making the experience both interactive and fascinating. The food and accommodation were excellent and offered great value for money. Every stop had breathtaking views, making the journey even more special. I couldn’t recommend this trip enough—100% worth it!
We were lucky to have a wonderful group and, in Vicente, an absolutely brilliant guide. He is a very funny and knowledgeable man who was available and approachable at all times, and humoured me speaking to him in shaky Spanish for four days. He took the time to give me recommendations of Peruvian writers and radio shows, and went way above and beyond what was required of him. The activities are incredibly fun and overall I was left feeling that the tour represents very good value for money. I also recommend doing the optional rafting, which was a personal highlight. Some advice: The tour is not overly physically demanding but you do need a base level of physical fitness to enjoy the cycling and hiking. I would spend at least 24 hours in Cusco to get used to the altitude before starting this tour. Otherwise, you may not enjoy the first day or two due to symptoms of 'soroche'. I went in July and it was very hot during the day. The sun in this part of the world is extremely strong between 10am and the 4pm so take plenty of sun cream as well as a decent sun hat. Take some cash for small purchases, especially water which you will need to buy along the way. Overall, a brilliant experience which I can't recommend highly enough. Añay wayki Vicente!
This trip was so nice! We had a great time. Francis was an excellent tour guide, he showed us around and told us a lot about the different places we were visiting. The trip was also nicely balanced. The walking was great and we also had some free time. You should definetly book this trip if you want a great hiking experience and see the beautiful scenery. All credits to Francis!!!
It was an unforgettable experience that required a certain level of fitness. Our guide Vicente made it possible for everyone through clear instructions and endless patience. His genuine interest in his country's history and people was evident. All additional services were clearly listed. Unfortunately, there was no alternative program for guests who did not want optional extras such as spa, river rafting, or zip-lining. The accommodation in Aguas Calientes could be better; otherwise everything was excellent.
We had an amazing experience on this trip, Machu Picchu itself was so incredible and the white water rafting was a highlight of our trip! GusGus our guide was so knowledgable and made sure we all had fun and a big thank you to Armando who helped put us in touch with a trustworthy doctor during a medical emergency on our second day- we appreciate it so much! Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone coming to Peru, it truly is once in a lifetime experience and worth every penny!🥰🇵🇪❤️
Gustavo was the best guide in the world. Experience really exceeded my expectations. Great food, fun activities and Macchu Picchu is unreal in person. A few unexpected expenses but nothing crazy. Defo worth doing it one of the best things to do in Peru.
Great trip, highly recommend for anyone keen to learn about the history and culture of the Inka and Peruvian people whilst also doing fun activities in between the hiking. Our guide Gustavo was great he looked after everyone so well and made sure our trip was enjoyable.
Gustavo was a great guide, kept us away from big crowds, good English, very passionate about Inka history and culture. Had an unreal time
