The Kiez-Captain Reeperbahn & Beatles Kieztour Hamburg

Description
The Kiez-Kapitän Reeperbahn tour through the history of St. Pauli shows you the "sinful mile". The very personal tour for everyone who wants to get to know the real St. Pauli. Since 2012 I have been traveling as a tour guide for you on the popular tours over the Reeperbahn and through Hamburg. And since 1982 as a little "butcher" on St. Pauli between Astra-Kisten, Hafenstrasse and Millerntorstadion. On the Kiez-Kapitän Reeperbahn tours there is everything about the history of the Hamburger Berg, Herbertstraße and prostitution on St. Pauli, Danes in Altona, the cult bar "Zur Ritze" and the gang wars in the 1980s, Hans Albers, the Beatles in the Great Freedom, Freddy Quinn and the "big city area" of the Davidwache. There is much more to discover here than just the "sinful mile"! The Kiez-Kapitän tours are suitable for adults and young people.

Itinerary
The world-famous police station in the middle of the Reeperbahn. Nice brick building with a lot of history and stories.
Herbertstrasse is reserved for prostitutes. Here the "sinful mile" is still alive and the passage for women who do not work there is still forbidden.
Hans-Albers-Platz is located in the center of the Reeperbahn and was renamed after the famous Hamburg singer and actor. The bar "Albers-Ecke" was also named after "Blond Hans".
The "Beatles-Platz" is the entrance to the Great Freedom. Here are the 5 guys in the Hamburg district that was to be the birth of the most successful band in the world. 4 clubs, in which the "Fab Four" played, are in the immediate vicinity. And also their favorite bar.
The Great Freedom is the heart of the Reeperbahn "celebration mile". Formerly a street with red light shops, it is now celebrated in bars and pubs. And the many music clubs in the street established Hamburg's reputation as the favorite place of many famous bands. Starclub, Große Freiheit 36, Indra Club has seen the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie and many other musicians.

The Kiez captain knows his stuff, not a set-up tour with memorized facts, but first-hand information!
Very sympathetic neighborhood captain. Jens showed us the Reeperbahn with many anecdotes of the Beatles and everyday life from the Hamburg neighborhood on the sinful mile. Great entertaining 2 hour tour!!
Nice tour over the neighborhood. Was very informative and gave a good insight into the history of the Reeperbahn.
It was a nice tour of St. Pauli. We four liked it very much. Even as a Hamburger from the Old Land, it was many places and stories that Jens showed us with his knowledge. We are planning more tours with Jens!
Exciting explanations in a relaxed atmosphere. We would take part in one of the other tours offered at any time.
Wonderful tour with lots of special information from a real connoisseur of the district, highly recommended
We really enjoyed the tour. Above all, we liked the fact that St.Pauli was not only reduced to "the one thing", but we also got to know other aspects of this fascinating neighborhood. You can feel that the Führer is at home here and got to know the neighborhood from a young age. We think the lead stands out from the sometimes somewhat shrill competition.
It gave me pleasure to hear the anecdotes of Jens onwards, which do not reveal themselves through a travel book
Moin und viele Grüße aus Hamburg! :-) Danke für die tolle Bewertung. Und gerne wiederkommen. Hamburg lohnt sich immer! Ahoi! Jens, der Kiez-Kapitän!
