Hamburg: 2-hour harbor cruise

Description
Enjoy the maritime charm on a two-hour harbor cruise through the Port of Hamburg and experience the lively hustle and bustle around the harbor during one of the daily tours. The Port of Hamburg is massive – the entire city of Cologne could easily fit inside it. It is the second-largest port in Europe after Rotterdam and impresses with its vastness. Hamburg has grown around the port, and many attractions as well as the city’s skyline are closely connected to it. Experience the contrast between modernity and history: from Elbe fishing villages and the fish market to modern container terminals and cruise ships. Discover the Reeperbahn, old sailing ships, and gigantic container vessels. On board a harbor-ready ship, you’ll get an up-close view of the gateway to the world. Sail through the historic Speicherstadt, explore the modern HafenCity quarters, and see the famous Elbphilharmonie from the water. A unique experience for every visitor!

5 “Hamburg: a clean, vibrant city and a wonderful experience overall. I recommend it!”
Great trip around the harbour. Be aware that the English version is an audio guide app that’s best to have downloaded in advance - this worked well for us.
Good spirits and great to see the Hamburt harbour. Really the heart of all that Hamburg is about. I’d recommend this one. Magnificent ships to see
Overall a very disappointing experience and poor value for money. ( thursday 11 June at 1400) Booked as 2 hour English audio tour ( clearly shown on tickets as this but commentary only in German). Commentary meant nothing to us so not clear what we we were looking at. Really could not wait to get off boat. Feel a bit ripped off and mis-sold as English audio available. If we had known only in German then we would not have booked.
There was constant either talk from the guide or so loud music that we had difficulty enjoying the tour or hearing our audio guide. We therefore missed all the facts, as our German is very limited.
We were in Hamburg for the first time, and as newcomers, this harbor tour is highly recommended; you get beautiful insights that you cannot gain on land and also receive interesting information since the tour is commented on by a guide during the ride, who was very likable, by the way. The ship is very clean, and the service is also good. Book it; it is absolutely worth it!
Very pleasant ride, very modern and clean ship with a panoramic roof, which is opened or closed depending on the weather, equipped with air conditioning. Great tour, very entertaining 😄👍, good prices on the ship. Highly recommended.
You need to download the app to hear it in another language before it starts As even though I booked English, there was not any. So I have no idea .
Boat trip on KLEIN ERNA from Abicht shipping company - large 2-hour harbor tour on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:15 AM. Particularly noteworthy and commendable is the tour guide, who entertained us for two hours with great cheer, quick-witted remarks, and incredible enthusiasm for his work. Thank you to him and congratulations to the employer for having and retaining such people. This large tour is recommended for anyone who wants to experience harbor life, large ships, and the surroundings of the Elbe near Hamburg. You will receive tips for your own activities. The price for the ticket is okay. Service on board is not cheap but acceptable.
Elias, the ship's tour leader, was great
