Itinerary
You will start at the entrance of Hamburg Central Station Wandelhalle, 20099 Hamburg, Germany, this is also known as the Spitalerstrasse Entrance. Our guide will have an orange umbrella and a huge smile.
Your guide will greet you and introduce you to your culinary adventure across Hamburg.
The journey of a Hamburger starts with a Frantzbrötchen - A cinnamon pastry baked with a large choice of ingredients from chocolate, to marzipan without forgetting the oh so German Kirsch cherry. As you enjoy your Franztbrötchen you will learn of the story of this delicacy along with the story of the station
We make our first stop at a restaurant where you will experience our delicious Secret Dish accompanied with a beer or a soft.
On the way to Town Hall we will take an Hamburger to go and enjoy it with a view on the Binnenalster lake and its famous Alster Fountain.
We will then walk past many of the key landmarks of central Hamburg, the Town Hall and the canals.
Walking past the iconic ruins of this church, bombed by Allied forces during Operation Gomorrah in 1943, an elevator allows you to get a vantage view of the city.
After sailing though the canal streets get rewarded by a fish nugget and its remoulade sauce. Now is the time for freshly brewed ristretto or expresso (single or double) accompanied by the local cookie will bring you warmth and energy for the rest of our journey.
Starting with a sweet and finishing with a sweet, we bring things full circle with a grand classic, the tasty RoteGrutz dessert, red berries jelly served on a vanilla flavoured cream or rice pudding

Eat, drink and walk around to known and unknown places in Hamburg. My girlfriend and I were the only ones who had booked the trip and therefore had a pleasant and more private tour around with our knowledgeable, sweet and English speaking guide David. David showed and told and was good at creating excitement and involving us in the experiences v. to let us guess, ask us to observe from different positions. The many dishes and drinks filled the stomach and was a fun and nice way to get more senses started on a walk around the diverse Hamburg. We recommend the tour, and if you are lucky you will also get David as a guide.

Such a fun tour. We got to walk through the city and see landmarks, learn about the history all while tasting delicious local foods. They were also very accommodating when notifying in advance of our dietary needs. The vegetarian meal was the best I had in Germany. They also were able to accommodate and provide an alternative meal for husband’s shellfish allergy. Highly recommend the tour. Amber was an awesome tour guide, such enthusiasm, knowledge.
