St.Pauli for those interested in history and the present

This was a tour for everything who wants to know more! Clearly recommended! Sonja has told rousing, cheerful and interesting stories. An outline of St. Pauli's history, loaded with pictures, has shown that St. Pauli is much more than just partying and red light. We stopped at different stations and learned, for example, why there is a Chinatown in almost every port city, why a Catholic church stands on the Great Freedom, why the Hamburgers came to Altona in the Middle Ages or how St. Pauli developed into one of the top places to live, etc. Sonja has managed to draw the line into the present and explain how St. Pauli has developed to this day. She managed to dispel old legends and myths and imparted a lot of background knowledge and insider knowledge, which led to many "aha moments". Thumbs up!
