After departure from your hotel we will drive nearly 3 hours to reach Pamukkale. We will visit the well-kept ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis and Pamukkale, a UNESCO Heritage sight since 1987. We will have some spare time in Pamukkale with its snow-white terraces formed by thermal waters cascading down the hillside.

For those of you docking in Kusadasi this is a great day trip or shore excursion. Communication was excellent. The tour guide was waiting for me at the assigned place and time. There were 7 of us on the tour. Mehmet was our tour guide. He was informative spoke excellent English and didn’t overdo the talking. The bus ride was a bit long but worth it in the end. The provided lunch was awful though. Not TURKISH at all, a horrible buffet! Overall this trip was excellent except for the food.
We spent a terrific two days with Koray at Ephesus and Pamukkale. His English is excellent. His passion for history and archeology is evident. We also had an excellent driver for our private tour. We enjoyed the conversations about life in modern Turkiye.
