Our Tour guide will meet you at Kusadasi Port or the lobby of Listed hotels with your name sign at pre-arranged time . Pick up time will be given during your confirmation. Kusadasi Cruise Terminal pick up time normally 30 to 45 minutes after your cruise arrival
Our first stop is the House of Virgin Mary. The House of Virgin Mary is located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles away from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council on 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the discovery of the house, the Archbishop of Izmir declared there as a place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited this place and prayed there
Our second stop is Ephesus Ancient City. We will start visiting one of the main highlights in Turkey, Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor) is located near Izmir. As a port city it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus; it was built in the beginning of the 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila to be a memorial to his father Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of Province of Asia. , the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus. Grand theatre was built in 3rd century B.C and it was later expanded to 24.000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D.
Terrace Houses is included in 2 ( Private with Terrace Houses and with Small group with Terrace Houses ) Options only. Not included in other 2 without Terrace Houses options Terrace Houses is located on skirt of Pion Mountain. There are 6 residential units which were built on three man-made terraces. These houses were settled by wealty citizens of Ephesus. These houses were very fancy decorated with wall frescoes and floor mosaics. There are many steps to ascend from bottom to top. Attention Not recommended for people who has walking difficulties and acro-phobia (fear of heights).
Our last stop is The Temple of Artemis where used to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world as our last stop before drive back to Kusadasi town center and port

We had Ana amazing time with our tour guide Erden. He made our tour very personal and listened to what we wanted to see. He even surprised us with a few extra sight seeing opportunities that were near and dear to our hearts. We didn’t waste time. Every minute was well spend and it for sure was better then what we even expected. Highly recommend this tour
The tour really should be called a Day of Turkish Hospitality as our tour guide Gokche and all of the people we met made us feel incredibly welcome. We had a great time! We started at the house of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Admission fee was about 15 USD per person. Well worth the money if you are a person of faith. We next went to Ephesus. Admission fee was 40 Euro per person. The ruins and whole experience are incredible. Following this, we went to a delicious lunch in a garden setting. Drinks were not included but hospitality was. We then went to a demonstration of rug making at the restaurant site and went to their showroom. There, the owners gave us free drinks while they showed us their products. The hard sell was the part of the fun! Our next stop was a leather store where we watched a video about the leather making process while we sipped free drinks as we watched a fashion show. The show was a pleasant surprise! After visiting their showroom, we then stopped at the ruins of the Basilica of St John. Admission was 6 Euro per person. From there, we went to a pottery artisan shop to watch and learn about their craft. Of course, we were treated to more hospitality with free drinks while they showed us their art. We made it back to our cruise in plenty of time. We are seasoned travelers and recognize why we made the extra stops but these stops were so much fun that these actually improved the whole day. Seeing the artisans with their crafts added quite the local flavor. All of the hosts, our driver, and our guide made the day a great experience.

Dago was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and informative. Hus stories imbedded pictures of the lives of the Ephesus people back in the early part of AD. A Turkish lunch was included and was delicious especially the meatballs. Highly recommend this tour. Salih was our driver and provided a safe journey to and from the port.

Taz was fantastic! He was a knowledgeable historian and made everything so interesting. He answered all of our questions and was a wonderful story teller. After our tour he took us to have an authenticunch and learn about Turkish rugs. We couldn't have asked for a better day in Kusadasi. Tip... bring a pen and paper for the wishing wall.
