Our Tour guide will meet you at Kusadasi Port or the lobby of Listed hotels with your name sign at pre-arranged time . Pick up time will be given during your confirmation. Kusadasi Cruise Terminal pick up time normally 30 to 45 minutes after your cruise arrival
Our first stop is the House of Virgin Mary. The House of Virgin Mary is located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles away from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council on 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the discovery of the house, the Archbishop of Izmir declared there as a place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited this place and prayed there
Our second stop is Ephesus Ancient City. We will start visiting one of the main highlights in Turkey, Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor) is located near Izmir. As a port city it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus; it was built in the beginning of the 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila to be a memorial to his father Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of Province of Asia. , the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus. Grand theatre was built in 3rd century B.C and it was later expanded to 24.000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D.
Terrace Houses is included in 2 ( Private with Terrace Houses and with Small group with Terrace Houses ) Options only. Not included in other 2 without Terrace Houses options Terrace Houses is located on skirt of Pion Mountain. There are 6 residential units which were built on three man-made terraces. These houses were settled by wealty citizens of Ephesus. These houses were very fancy decorated with wall frescoes and floor mosaics. There are many steps to ascend from bottom to top. Attention Not recommended for people who has walking difficulties and acro-phobia (fear of heights).
Our last stop is The Temple of Artemis where used to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world as our last stop before drive back to Kusadasi town center and port

We had an amazing private tour of Ephesus, and our guide, Mille, was wonderful! He was extremely knowledgeable, informative, and passionate about the history of each site. He answered all of our questions and made the experience both educational and enjoyable. We chose the longer tour, and it was absolutely worth it. We visited Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary, and the Terrace Houses, and each stop was incredible. Mille also gave us the option to visit places like the rugs, leather and other local shops, but when we politely declined, there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever. We really appreciated that the tour was tailored to what we wanted to see. If you’re looking for a well-organized, informative, and stress-free experience, I highly recommend this private tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
The tour was good. The wait at the House of Mary was not long at all. The area is very serene. Ephesus was good also. We then went to a rug place and saw beautiful rugs being made, We were shown the finished product to buy. No pressure to buy but I feel that is because I let the guide know I just wanted to see the process. Fusion was our guide and she was nice.

Fusun was a wonderful guide. She was friendly, fun and kept us well informed of the history and culture throughout our trip. One of the highlights was the rug tour and lunch. What a great trip with all fees included. Pick up at the port was super simple. Alex was our guide and was great. The van was very clean and a great ride for the trip. They planned around the bigger crowds and ordered the spots accordingly. Forget the other tour option or any ship arranged excursions….. book this one and you will be happy.
The experience was once in a lifetime. Our guide gave good knowledge reference the facts and history of the places visited. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed which allowed the guide to be informational without the feeling of being rushed.
