The Famous Windmills of Mykonos town were a great boon to the people of those localities and were primarily used for grinding the agricultural products meant to be transported to places outside Mykonos.
Little Venice Mykonos was built by merchants and captains in the 1700s. Since these houses overlook the sea, they remind of Venice, that's why the Mykonian is called Little Venice
Church of Panagia Paraportiani was built to serve the needs of the local Orthodox Christian community. Over the centuries, the church has been damaged by fires, earthquakes, and other natural disasters.
