The Church of Panagia Paraportiani (Greek: Εκκλησία της Παναγίας της Παραπορτιανής) is situated in the neighbourhood of Kastro, in the town of Chora, on the Greek island of Mykonos. Its name literally means "Our Lady of the Side Gate" in Greek, as its entrance was found in the side gate of the entrance to the Kastro area.
The exhibition of the museum includes a large number of vases, ranging from the prehistoric to the late Hellenistic period (25th-1st century B.C.), grave statues..
The iconic windmills of Mykonos are one of the island’s most recognizable landmarks, standing proudly on a hill above Mykonos Town. Originally used to grind grain, these historic windmills date back to the 16th century and were crucial to the island’s economy. Today, they stand proudly over the town and the sea, making them a popular spot for tourists and photographers alike.
A charming, picturesque neighbourhood, where colorful medieval two storey houses sit right on the water’s edge, with balconies almost touching the sea. This vibrant area is known for its lively bars, restaurants, and stunning sunsets that draw visitors from around the world.

- At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
- Our company is not responsible for the client’s failure to appear at the meeting point for the booked tour or activity.
- Last minute cancellation of flights or inability to disembark from a cruise ship, is not our company’s responsibility, therefore any refund requests due to such incidents will not be accepted. Should the client be aware of such a change, he/she is requested to communicate with our company more than 24 hours before the tour or activity starts, in order to discuss possible date or time amendment (subject to availability)
- Refund requests for last minute cancellations (up to 24 hours before the tour or activity), for any reason, will not be accepted.
- For any cancellation on our behalf due to bad weather (high winds over 6 degrees of the beaufort scale), the client is entitled to an 80% refund. Beforehand, our company will do everything in its power to service the customer, by offering solutions such as change of date or alternative tour or activity.
- All clients are kindly requested to send their preferred meeting point and location until 3:00pm of the previous date, regarding their pick-up for the booked tour or activity. Should they fail to do so, our company will do anything it can in order to locate them (telephone, email, etc), however it is not responsible for any failure to meet them. Meeting points could be, anywhere on the island and the information necessary is either the hotel name or the name of the cruise ship they are arriving with. In the occasion that they are staying at an apartment, clients are requested to send us a google map, a nearby hotel or any information that would help us locate them. Any delay of behalf of the client (up until 15 minutes that we will be waiting for them) affects the transfer schedule and disrupts the smooth conduct of the tour/activity.
- For no-name accommodations, our company will set the most convenient location for the pick-up.For accommodations that are located in a pedestrian zone, our company will set the best possible pick-up point.
- Our company is not responsible for knowing whether the client is supposed to book transfer or not. The transfer schedule is prepare less than 24 hours before the operation, therefore we cannot predict such necessity.
- Transfer inclusions include a certain distance, while for remote areas Elia, Kalafatis, Agrari, Panormos, Super Paradise, Kanalia, and other remote villas an additional charge will apply € 10 per person (to be paid in cash on the spot).
- On late arrivals, tour content and activities that were missed would not be refunded.
- No reimbursement, compensation, partial or full refunds would be given.
- Itinerary: In case of a force majeure and/or reasons beyond our control and events that occur after the tour departure, we reserve the right to modify the routing and alter the itinerary.
- Tour duration can vary depending on traffic conditions & weather.
- The total duration includes transfer from/to hotel or port.

This walking tour was led by Matthew and he did an outstanding job with narrating and providing rich history of Mykonos. I was by myself, but among other participants and everyone was kind. I would recommend to anyone.

Our tour guide just didn’t have the personality for a tour guide. He was not good with the English language and did not engage the group
We took a tour as part of a cruise so your tour may vary. The town is truly beautiful but having narrow streets can also be crowded and busy. We visited at the end of the season and there were only 2 ships in dock from 5 expected and yet there were still plenty of people looking around. That said there are lots of quiet corners away from the main areas and there are some wonderful views. The main town is a bit of a Warren and it is easy to get lost although there are also a lot of maps and all the shopkeepers speak English and will give directions.
Fast, despite an excellent guide, very experienced, the tour itself very uninteresting. Thank you.

We took this tour on 23/03/2025 our guide Christy was soo sweet and awesome .. she took some great pics of us... showed us the most important places in old mykonos, wind mills, walking street, little Venice and bakery.. we wish to come back to this absolute gem , Mykonos & wish to hv the same guide Christy as our local guide

Guide did not show up. Directions regarding meeting place we're not explicit as there was more than one way to arrive from our ship. We spent an hour walking around found no guide. Contact by phone was no help. We were told to wait in front of the little church. We waited about 20 minutes. Then went back to the ship. Disappointing experience....

Thank you for your feedback, but during our discussion on October 19th, what you've mentioned differs from the discussion we had: First of all you were at the wrong pick up location which was 15 minutes away (we had been sending you messages through viator & whatsapp which you never received) When we spoke i informed you that you must walk in order to meet the escort but you refused. At that point i told you that our escort can come there but she will be late around 15-20 minutes and you agreed. You told me you will be waiting at the bench in front of St,Nikolas church. I immediately called the escort to come and pick you up. At 18.33 (i have messages from her) the escort reached St,Nikolas but you had already left. There was no phone that we could contact you and neither could you obviously. I understand your disappointment about not being able to participate in the walking tour, and I truly regret that it didn't work out as planned.
