Magical Evening River CruiseI had a wonderful experience on the Malacca River Cruise. I highly recommend taking the cruise in the evening or after sunset. The colorful lights reflecting on the water create a magical atmosphere, and the boat ride feels even more enjoyable. The views along the river are beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for taking photos. It was one of the highlights of my trip, and I would definitely do it again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A great day out to Malacca with our lovely friendly guide Easther, who was very informative about the place and the history, which was really interesting. A nice lunch and a 100 year old bar in the old town wrapped up the day nicely. I was travelling solo and there was 1 other guest, so it was small, which for us, was great! My only thing was that it let me book my hotel for pick up, but I was then told it wasn’t in the area an to find my way to another pick up point. My hotel should not really be listed in the first place to avoid this confusion as there was a bit of back and forth.
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your Malacca day trip with Easther and appreciated her knowledge, friendliness, and insights into the history of the area. We’re also glad you enjoyed the lunch and the charming old town experience. We apologize for the confusion regarding the hotel pickup location and appreciate your feedback, which will help us improve the booking information and process.
Enjoyed a full day tour exploring Malacca. The river cruise was wonderful, great scenery, beautiful buildings and even got to see a few monitor lizards. Yoga our tour guide was great, full of information and a genuinely lovely guy. The town of Malacca is vibrant, colourful and full of history. Loved walking down Jonkie Street, so much to see. Really need to spend a few days here to take it all in. They have managed to pack this day full of interesting sights. Definitely worth booking. It’s about 2/3 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur, traffic depending. The mini bus was comfortable and air conditioned.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed exploring Malacca and appreciated the river cruise, sights, and comfortable transportation. We're also glad Yoga made your experience memorable with his knowledge and hospitality. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again soon.

Our guide, Muhammid, was a lovely guy and very informative. We boarded a minibus with a driver call Mr Sha and set off for Malacca. The city is very old with a long cultural history about 2-hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. It was good to get out of the city for a while, although we weren’t quite sure what to expect. One of the highlights was the boat ride along the river, which was fabulous. We took lots of pictures, it was quite surprising and enjoyable. You could see a lot of money sprucing up the area, creating a lot for us to see, from the original cultural homes of the natives to amusement parks, and restaurants and hotels along the water front. Making it feel very welcoming and homely. Muhammid was brilliant at spotting the monitors on the river & constantly gave us a lot of information throughout the day. He was very knowledgeable. We visited an original church, Portuguese ruins, a Buddhist temple, a mosque, all the times explaining and answering my curious questions. He talked a lot about the history, the local culture and so much more. We also had an amazing lunch at a local restaurant. It was like a mini banquet, several meals each as good as the other. All in all it was an excellent tour made even better by a very obliging & respectful guide and driver. We are quite elderly travellers and both looked after us well, which was much appreciated.
Thank you for your lovely review! We are thrilled that Muhammid and Mr. Sha provided such a professional, caring, and informative experience on your Malacca tour. From the fabulous river boat ride to the historic ruins and the wonderful local banquet, we are glad you felt well looked after. Your appreciation means the world to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back!
