Itinerary
Our Delos Tour from Mykonos visits the island that is believed to be the birthplace of Apollo and was one of the most sacred places of ancient Greece. The island undoubtedly owed its success to its superb location at the very center of the Aegean, allowing seafarers to meet it in the middle of their journey as they sailed from the major commercial centers. Only a 45 minute boat ride away from Mykonos Delos was the centre of the Cyclades of the ancient world, the island of light, birthplace of Apollon and Artemis, home to the first multicultural civilization and having been inhabited between 2500 and 69 b.C. Delos boasts of many treasures remaining from these times like the ancient market place Agora, the famous terrace of the Naxos lions, the holy lake, the ancients living quarters and theatre that give you a lively vision of the daily life then; especially the houses of Dionysos, Kleopatra, the Trident, the Masks, the Dolphins with their mosaics are a fantastic experience of art not to be missed. Furthermore there are the Temple of Isis, the Egyptian goddess, the Roman water system and cisterns and the wonderful museum with plenty of breathtaking mosaics, statues and many more objects found during the excavations.

The lady on who was our guide was fantastic. So much energy and enthusiasm. She even brought along some food for the islands cats. The experience was fantastic. So much to see. So worth it.
Great guide! We love it! We put in Spanish but gave to understand in Portuguese , very calm and good people
The highlights were the tour guide on Delos, Sophie. She was extremely knowledgeable, very engaging, and accommodating. Not their fault, but the weather turned out to be terrible and it rained the entire tour. What started as a sprinkle turned to a downpour by the end of the tour. She made sure to continue to the end and make sure we got what we paid for while also giving people opportunities to return to the start whenever they needed. Our transfer to and from the cruise terminal was not so smooth. We were told to be early so we were, when I messaged the host to let them know where we were I was told to be patient. Once we found our way to our driver, he got us to the old port which required a walk of about a quarter mile. He told us that upon our return someone would be there to pick us up, no time was given. Due to the inclement weather, the boats brought us back to shore earlier than anticipated. I messaged the host to understand what time we needed to be back to see if we had time for lunch. The host did not respond and when we returned to the agreed upon spot, there was no ride. We then had to hire cabs (multiple, for the size of our group) in order to get back to the cruise terminal.
Very informative, but very hard to do if you have a disability. Due to the fact that a lot of people want to use the restroom before the tour and there is only 1 bathroom and it takes time away from the actual tour. Then you have to rush back o catch the boat that's very far away.
Communication and instructions were poor, a lot of wasted time, our tour guide in group three, while she was nice, she was veryyyyy boring…
Guide was excellent. Gave a great history and was able to answer all questions. The tour guide company is very disorganized. Left port 30 minutes later than scheduled and tour start for 15 minutes late. Otherwise would recommend.
No food or drink allowed inside the site. The tour guide was extremely wonderful, gave plenty of information and stories.
This was a great quick trip to see the ruins. Our guide was great and we were able to explore the whole area.
Delos is a great island to visit. The boat ride was very smooth. Seeing the ruins was great but on our day there was alot of people there. Our guide did her best but we recommend maybe changing up the order of stops to avoid the crowds. We did also wish to have more time to visit the museum before the boats left. Overall still a great tour despite our hiccups, lots to see and great place for pictures and history
Such a wonderful experience - like being in Portugal. The food was just wonderful - great seafood and sides. The bread is outstanding. But the service was outstanding!!! Our waitress ( from Portugal) could not have been sweeter.
