The sweet-spot months
May to October is the dry season — sunny, clear days ideal for the city, the Death Road and the Uyuni dry-season landscape.
Dry season (May–Oct)
Cold nights but sunny days make this the peak time; skies are clear for biking, hiking and mountain views.
Wet season (Nov–Mar)
Summer rains bring afternoon showers; the Uyuni Salt Flats turn into a stunning mirror, but some roads and trips can be affected.
