I had an amazing time exploring La Paz! Visiting Valle de la Luna was an unforgettable experience—the unique rock formations and incredible landscapes made it feel like another planet. Walking through the Witches’ Market was fascinating, with its rich culture, local traditions, and unique handmade crafts. Riding the Teleférico was definitely a highlight, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains while making it easy to get around. Everything was well organized, and the experience gave me a wonderful introduction to the history, culture, and beauty of La Paz. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bolivia. It was the perfect mix of sightseeing, culture, and unforgettable views! Kudos to Rogelio, he was a great guide.
We had Maria as our guide for the day. She was very flexible in what we saw as it was a private tour. We rode the cable cars and went to the Vally of the Moon which was incredible. We then went to Killi Killi viewpoint to see all of La Paz. We took in the cocoa museum and the witches market. Maria was very insightful about the history and culture of the Indigenous people.
Maria was a dynamic guide, who knows the city well. She knows how to put at ease and explain the important elements concerning the different sites!
Very good tour, personalized, the Rosario guide excellent, recommend it
We just finished a wonderful tour with Maria. I would give her more stars if I could. She was very well informed about the history of La Paz and Bolivia while layering in details and experiences of the Aymara culture including sharing from her own life. I received a quick confirmation along with a list of recommendations after booking, on time hotel pickup, and lots of stops/chats along the tour route that left us feeling very happy with our day. La Paz is a vibrant city, and Maria gave us a glimpse into it. Book a tour with Inti Walkers!
The guide was absolutely adorable! So professional and knowledgeable and considerate and kind I was very lucky to find this tour
I had a fantastic experience with Aracely from Inti Walkers tour company. She was engaging, considerate of my wellbeing (checking in regularly given the high altitude), and VERY knowledgeable. In the tour she covered many of the popular apots like Witches Market, Moon valley, cable car rides, Coca Museum, and multiple areas of city. She also shared restaurant suggestions and helped me find a sticker (not as easy as you’d think)! If I had more time I would absolutely book another tour or activity with Inti Walkers. I enjoyed my time exploring La Paz with Aracely very much and highly recommend! 15/10!!!!
A very leisurely down-to-earth local city trip for first-timer in La Paz. The indigenous lady guide is very friendly, resourceful and knowledgeable about the history and culture of Bolivia. She even introduced some local restaurants to me. Since I’m on a solo one-on-one tour, it is really flexible. I have eventually asked her to arrange another day trip to the Lake Titikaka, pretty much doing similar things, but avoiding the major crowd of the large group and long ride.
Aracely is simply wonderful! Getting to know the city through her eyes was something magical and made our experience much more authentic. She showed us her La Paz, telling us about history, culture, and interesting facts, always attentive to our questions and our desires. It was a wonderful experience that connected us with the city. Throughout the tour, she introduced us to artists and even did a very beautiful dance performance. I highly recommend the tour.
My guide yesterday was Maria, and I had such a wonderful time. The tour was well organized, with lots of information. And because of Maria’s background, we talked about many aspects of Bolivia and that gave me a more-rounded perspective of the city and people. I enjoyed the tour thoroughly and highly recommend it to anyone who wants an intimate experience of La Paz.
