Weinprobe in Montevecchio Isolani

Beschreibung

This was a lovely experience, the setting was amazing, the wine was fab and it was great to have one of the family members tell us about this vineyard. It would have been great to stay a while longer and enjoy the views over another bottle of wine which we would have been more than happy to buy. Getting a taxi was a little problematic, but we sighted it in the end
Excellent wine tasting experience in a beautiful location. Building is from the 1400s, where the family has been producing wine since that time. Every glass we tried was excellent. Maria was a knowledgeable and accommodating host, and Pepo was a great addition. Would highly recommend.
Great experience, Maria was so friendly. Generous pours of delicious wine, with some snacks. Easy to get to from Bologna
Long story but will make it brief . On way to venue the taxi driver called to find out directions, lady wanted to speak to me as she had been trying to contact me as the event was cancelled, her daughter was sick . I sympathised and she explained I would be refunded.Taxi took us back to hotel costing 90euros round trip . Then she messaged again and explained she had tried to contact the wrong person to cancel , had she contacted me then We wouldn’t be 90euros out of pocket and a wasted morning on our Anniversary. I have since contacted her twice but no reply . Hence the poor review . Very disappointed
You can't get more personal than touring a ancient wine making estate with an owner/ family member. One of the oldest producers in Bologna, you won't be disappointed with the history, views, and wine. Simply delicious! Take a taxi to get there from Bologna. The estate will call one for your journey back to Bologna.
Montevecchio Iolani is an historic and authentic place! The wine expirience was unique! We had some trouble finding the place and Maria helped us in many ways making the expierince the most comfortable and enjoyable. We will never forget this day. Thank you.
My daughters and I had lovely time together at the winery. It was informative, the wine was amazing and very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was stunning. I highly recommend.
Amazing experience! My partner and I were the only ones to book for the day, so received a private tour! Fantastic wine, and brilliant food! I’m not a big wine drinker myself, but if all wine was like this I’d drink a lot more! Pepo the dog is also a very cute little assistant! Highly recommend. Will be recommending to friends who are visiting Bologna in the next few weeks.
As we first drove up we were astonished by how breathtakingly beautiful the grounds were. Maria and her puppy Pepo gave an amazing tour of the wine making process and provided a great tasting. She very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. We definitely will be visiting again on our next trip.
This experience was so much fun. Maria, our host at Montevecchio Isolani, was super friendly and led the tour and the tasting at our pace, which included showing us around the property and where the wine is made and explaining the history and the process. The wines we tasted were delicious and we ended up buying quite a few bottles and getting them shipped back to the UK. Maria also provided lovely snacks to have alongside the wine. Would recommend and would return if we revisit Bologna.
