Begleiten Sie uns auf einer kurzen Kleingruppentour zum berühmten Goðafoss-Wasserfall, einem der beliebtesten Touristenziele in Nordisland. Auf dem Rückweg nach Akureyri fahren wir entlang der Küste von Eyjafjordur, einem der längsten Fjorde Islands, von wo aus Sie über den Fjord nach Akureyri blicken und ein tolles Foto machen können. Von dort aus halten wir an der Forest Lagoon, einem geothermischen Spa-Resort gegenüber von Akureyri. Es umfasst Infinity-Pools mit Swim-up-Bars, eine Sauna und ein Kaltbecken und bietet eine großartige Aussicht über den Eyjafjordur-Fjord.

Der Goðafoss-Wasserfall ist einer der schönsten Wasserfälle Islands. Aufgrund seiner Geschichte wird er auch Wasserfall der Götter genannt. Im Jahr 1000 machte Þorgeir Ljósvetningagoði das Christentum zur offiziellen Religion Islands und warf daraufhin seine Götterstatuen in den Wasserfall. Das Wasser fällt aus einer Höhe von 12 Metern über eine Breite von 30 Metern.

Wenn Sie mit dem Kreuzfahrtschiff in Akureyri ankommen, stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass Sie uns den Namen Ihres Schiffes mitgeteilt haben, da es mehrere Häfen in Akureyri gibt. Hafen Tangabryggja : Etwas außerhalb des Kreuzfahrtschiffsgeländes finden Sie mehrere kleine Holzhäuser. Star Travel befindet sich in Haus Nummer 3, und wir werden Sie dort treffen. Oddeyrarbryggja Hafen : Direkt vor dem Schiff finden Sie einen Icewear-Shop. Daneben befindet sich der ausgewiesene Agentenbereich, in dem alle Reisebüros auf ihre Kunden warten. Wir werden dort mit einem Star Travel Schild sein. Suchen Sie einen unserer Kollegen in einer leuchtend gelben Jacke. Wenn Sie in Akureyri übernachten, stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass Sie die richtige Unterkunft für die Abholung ausgewählt haben. Reynir was a great guide. He stopped off at the viewpoint on the fjord to enable us to snap some pictures and enroute to the Godafoss waterfall. Spent an hour taking in the watery sights and then to the Forest Lagoon for prepaid 2 hours of calm and relaxation. We learnt a lot Reynir thank you!

We had the most amazing time visiting the Godafoss waterfall and being able to experience the Forest Lagoon & Spa. We were blessed to have Reynir (tour guide) take us to and from both Godafoss and the Forest Lagoon as he was very informative, friendly and patient which we both appreciated. Prior to going, he made contact via email to keep us in the loop which was great and gave us plenty of time to explore whilst letting us know plenty of information about the history and geography of the area. Should we ever return, we’d very much use Star Travel for our excursions!

Incredible experience! We were the only people booked on, so it was like having a private tour! Our guide took us to all the best viewing spots for photos, gave us time to see things that we wanted to see and finishing the day in the Lagoon was perfect! Would recommend!

Our guide Krista was incredible! Smart, funny and informative. The waterfall was amazing and the forest lagoon was most relaxing. I would recommend the forest lagoon over the blue lagoon near Reykjavik for sure. Much less crowded much less expensive.

The experience was not as described. The waterfall allowed 40 minutes Vaolaheioi Utsynispallur did not happen… We were dropped at the forest lagoon (but not picked back up). The falls were beautiful, and the lagoon was great… tour was just not as described.
