We had a great experience. The tour guide was very informative and we had many opportunities to stop on the drive to take photos and try some fresh lavash bread. Geghard was very crowded and amenities are not great, so better to use bathroom before travelling there. Garni was also excellent as well as the gorge which looks like the organ pipes. Tour was not rushed at all.

Edgar was an extraordinary host. We saw all shades of autumn on our way, an extremely beautiful view of Mount Ararat, a beautifully guided trip to the Garni Temple, the symphony of stones is a natural marvel that can't be told or written about, it must be witnessed with one's own eyes, and then finally visited Geghard, where Edgar showed us the symbolism and the history of the place. Took a tour to Garney and Gegard. It was an excellent two-in-one trip - an ideal itinerary that shows the full diversity of Armenian history: a mighty pagan past and a deep, sincere Christian faith. Definitely must-see for anyone coming to Armenia. Take a good guide – without him you will lose half the meaning and charm of these places. We were very lucky to have guide Anastasia - the trip was informative and very soulful.
