Vi tar en vandrare uppför Yorks mest ikoniska gata, och den mest förtrollande gatan i världen! Vi passerar affärer som säljer märkliga trolldrycker och trollkarlsvaror när vi börjar vårt sökande efter magiska varelser... *När vi är för upptagna, vågar vi oss uppför den intilliggande Colliergate istället
Mad Alice Lane... vi skulle vara galna att inte stanna här, när vi letar efter den sällsynta och mystiska av fåglar... Phoenix! Kommer den här magnifika varelsen att rufsa till några fjädrar, och vilken fågelhjärnad magi kommer vår trollkarl att få upp till härnäst?
Godis är dandy, så vi stannar nära York Sweet Shop på jakt efter vår nästa magiska varelse! Har du sötsug? Ingen tid att småäta, men kan du hjälpa trolla fram en chokladgroda? Sätt fart!
Vi går i skuggorna av York Minster, prydda med gargoyler, grotesker och alla möjliga märkliga varelser! Vi ska leta efter en råtta från stadens pestepok. Kan en råtta verkligen göra magi? Och vilka "svansar" kommer att berättas härnäst? Ta reda på den här trollbindande turnén!
Nästa på vår lista är en magisk mus! Ta reda på allt om snickaren Robert 'Mousey' Thompson och se förundrat när din guide förvandlar en enkel näsduk till en vit mus och sedan väcker den till liv.

We were recommended to go and see the experience and with having a 7 year old daughter during school holidays, anything to keep her occupied and engaged. All I can say was, absolutely brilliant! Oberon was fantastic, really engaging, very funny (and cheesy) and made a fantastic effort to get everyone involved! Well worth a visit 10/10
Very entertaining and full of magic for the kids and funny jokes for the grown ups! The Wizard who did our tour was very friendly and full of fun!

We came all the way from Aberdeen for a few days in York, the four of us, me, my wife and our two kids. The Wizard Walk was one of the highlights of our trip. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when we booked it, but it turned out to be great fun. It wasn’t a history tour or a history lesson. Instead, it was all about the magic, the stories and the experience. There were lots of magic tricks throughout the walk, which kept the kids interested from start to finish. Our guide was fantastic and really made the experience enjoyable. The tricks were fun and there were plenty of moments where the kids were genuinely surprised and excited. It was nice seeing them so involved rather than just walking around looking at buildings. What I also liked was that it worked well for all four of us. Sometimes you book something that’s mainly for the kids and the adults just go along with it, but my wife and I enjoyed it too. The atmosphere was relaxed, entertaining and there was a good bit of humour along the way. The walk itself was also a nice way to explore York. We got to see the city while having something entertaining going on rather than simply walking around sightseeing. Coming all the way from Aberdeen, we wanted to make our trip to York worthwhile, and I’m really glad we booked this. The four of us had a great time and the kids are still talking about the magic tricks. Definitely worth doing if you’re visiting York with children. It was fun, different and a really good family experience.
A fantastic tour around surrounded by laughter from people of all ages. Highly recommend it, and recommend buying the wand kit for the kids! An inferno of fun!!
We took the tour as a family of four with two Harry Potter mad children. (12 and 7). From the very start the humour and chat from our tour guide was at a perfect level for the children to find funny and engaging, and as we moved around the city time flew by. The combination of tricks, jokes and sights were perfect. We went on a very warm day but the tour guide had a good understanding of safe places to stand, often with shade as an option. It was busy (school holidays) but still felt very personal to our children (and all children on the tour got involved). When booking the price seemed a lot but having done it- it was more than value for money as the most enjoyable part of our day. We had never been to York before - and as a result doing this as our first activity helped us get our bearings and meant we could revisit places later in the day. Highly recommend!
Amazing with the children and was very interactive. The way he couldn't remember peoples names was really funny. His magic tricks were incredible but some of them went wrong (in a funny way 😄)!

It was really good and there were very amazing tricks and the laughs because of the halirious jokes put a smile on other people's faces I would definitely recommend trying out this activity if u live in york or if ur travelling to york.
