Vinprovningsvandring i Gamla stan i Chania
Beskrivning
Detta är en vinprovningstur du måste göra på din första dag i Chania. Vi träffas på Anassa Boutique Hotel and Cafe vid den gamla venetianska hamnen. Här får du lära dig lite om vinprovning medan du smuttar på 2 viner med direkt utsikt över fyren. Ett litet mellanmål följer med vinerna. Din guide kommer att peka ut våra favoritställen för lunch, middag, vin och cocktails längs hamnen. Kritamon Wine Bar & Restaurant är vårt nästa stopp där du kommer att smaka på ytterligare 2 viner med ett mellanmål. Du kommer att bli förtrollad av de små små gatorna bakom hamnen, eller som vi kallar dem "ta stenakia". Därefter går vi till Splantzia-torget, en stadsdel med enorm historisk betydelse. Ytterligare två kretensiska viner provas med ett litet mellanmål tillsammans med det. Sista stoppet är vid en lokal vinbutik för att smaka ett sista vin, ett sött dessertvin gjort i den uråldriga liastometoden. Här kan du handla alla viner du gillade under hela vinprovningen.

A fantastic tour of the old town that gave us insight into Crete’s wine, culture and general knowledge of wine tasting. Skillful and very nice guide. We were 3 adult ladies in our group as well as another family. It was excellent and we can warmly recommend this.
AbFab wine walk with Anastasia! She was super easy going and very knowledgable about cretan wines. She showed us a great selection of wine bars, we're back at the Kritamon right now, and we got to taste and learn a lot about the uniqe grapes of Crete. Also told us a lot about the City of Chania, really interesting! It was an advantage to us that the guide we're greek-american and was american speaking. All in all a 5 star experience and we would really recommend Anastasia and the tour!
We were on a trip with Stella, around the old town of Chania. Stella told about the city, its history and its food culture. We were at 3 restaurants and get some tasting on some specialties. First place we got pulled pork, though not in the traditional sense, but more like burnt ends, tasted great, and some local wine to. At another place, got will cheese table and wine to. Nice and nice place by the water. We finished with dinner at a restaurant in the small streets. Here we got 5 dishes, all of which were delicious, and wine to. All in all a lovely evening.
I enjoyed this tour, the wines were delicious, the host was funny and knowledgeable, would have liked slightly more history about Crete, but it was very well organised, she was very passionate and it was a great tour I’d recommend to anyone!
Very fun experience! Anastasia was very informative and made the trip amazing. Walk was easy and takes you through some of the beautiful areas of Old Town Chania. Perfect wine tour for beginner wine enthusiasts. She makes the experience comfortable and interesting! Anastasia was even able to give us some lunch recommendations after our tour. I would 100% recommend this experience.
A great wee tour round Chania sampling some gorgeous local wines and food. A good pace and just enough wine to get a taste for more. Great to stop at the wine shop at the end. No pressure to buy but lots of info and advice if you want to. Anastasia was fun, informative and relaxed. Perfect group size of five. Highly recommended

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Anastasia was a charming host and her presentation was not in the least pretentious. We tried some really nice wines and ate some delicious snacks and got a real feel of what Chania has to offer.
One of the best wine tours we’ve been on. Anastasia was fantastic - funny and passionate teaching us about the history of the wines and Greece without getting too into the details. The walk helped us get our bearings around Chania too. Every place provided snacks which paired great with the wines - they even accommodated my gluten free dietary restriction. Absolutely fantastic - highly recommend!
We had a delightful wine tour with Anastasia. Our group of 9 family members all agreed that she provided the best education on wines and tastings that we have ever experienced. She presented the information in such a way that we were all comfortable asking questions and sharing our impressions of the wine. Not only were we able to sample a variety of wines, but we can also use this knowledge in the future. We would love to return to Crete and do a longer experience with Chania Wine Tours in the countryside.
