När du går av från fartyget kommer jag att vänta på dig vid kryssningsterminalen, vid gate 5-utgången från hamnen i Messina där jag kommer att vara där och vänta på dig med en skylt med ditt namn och efternamn. Härifrån börjar vi vår resa till Savoca, som tar cirka 1 timme med bil.
Vi stannar i konststaden Savoca där vi kan besöka Vitelli bar, där det kommer att vara möjligt att smaka på en typisk siciliansk granita. Ett annat stopp på vår turné kommer att vara kyrkan "Santa Maria in cielo Assunta" som vi också hittar i några utdrag av filmen som t.ex. bröllopet mellan Michael Corleone och Apollonia.
När du väl anländer till Castelmola kan du beundra en av de vackraste byarna i Italien och smaka på mandelvinet i den mycket berömda Bar Turrisi, känd för närvaron av falliska former som används som dekorationer. Dessa symboler ska inte betecknas som vulgära, utan som en symbol för fertilitet, välstånd och frihet enligt den grekiska kulturens idéer. Alex tar dig också för att smaka på läcker siciliansk cannoli, inkluderad i priset för denna turné, från vår vän Stefania Pitittitti.
Det sista stoppet på vår turné blir Taormina. Vi kommer till Piazza San Pancrazio, där resenärer kommer att göra sin rundtur och kommer att kunna besöka de karakteristiska gatorna i Corso Umberto, beundra de vackra landskapen och gå till den grekisk-romerska teatern i Taormina (kostnaden för entrébiljetten är exkluderad från turnéns pris).

Vid ankomst till Messinas hamn möts resenärer vid Gate 5. En av våra chaufförer kommer att vara där för att välkomna dem med en skylt med deras namn på. Turens start- och sluttider måste överenskommas minst 24 timmar i förväg baserat på kryssningsfartygets ankomst- och avgångstider.

We had a great time doing this tour with Alessandros tour company.Our ship docked in Messina for the day and we decided to take a full day car tour of Savoca, Taormina and Castelmola- a small taste of Sicily for our very first time. The tour was very well managed for time, we were given a comfortable car, our tour guide Isabella communicated well and guided us as well as gave us plenty of free time for us to just roam around and enjoy the surroundings.Alberto was a fabulous driver. We loved the cannoli and almond wine treat that was included in our stop in Castelmola.And we even got to see the Duomo di Messina at the end before returning to the ship. We had great views of Isola Bella and Mt Etna too! All for a portion of the price of a shore excursion. We loved the reassuring and good communication with the tour manager Alessandro with booking and payment and would highly recommend this company. Family from Malaysia.
Our guide Pari was delightful and knowledgeable. She spoke beautiful English. She seemed to know everyone, and was bright and cheery. Alberto made it easy to get around and it was very accommodating. We loved visiting Messina, Savoca and Castelmola.
Our family had an amazing day in Sicily. Every place we visited on the itinerary was totally worth it, you can stay extra in the places if you want they all have hiden gems. You will see things eat things and smell things that are out of this world. Our guide and driver we professional, perfect with our babies and family and were accommodating to our needy needs! We had an amazing tour with Alessandro - were picked up at our ship, then driven to Savoca to see The Godfather sights and have a coffee. Then to Taormina and Castelmola, with stops for photos, shopping and food/coffees as needed. One of our group has limited mobility and was accommodated wonderfully. I highly recommend this private tour for being able to get close to sights and have a personal touch. This tour was absolutely the highlight of our Mediterranean cruise!

My husband previously wrote a great review but I wanted to add something. We traveled with my dad in an electric wheelchair and Alessandro and Marisa made sure we took accessible routes. We got to see so much and learned a lot of history while having so much fun!
