Upptäck byarna Taormina och Castelmola och deras unika och imponerande vyer med oss. Castelmola Sicilien är en av de vackraste byarna i Italien, på 550 meter över havet. Vi kommer att hamna på dess panoramatorg, där vi kommer att bli förvånade över utsikten, på ena sidan, över berget Etna - den högsta aktiva vulkanen i Europa. Vi stannar också vid lokala caféer för att smaka det typiska söta mandelvinet. Vår dagstur fortsätter med en Taormina-tur, för att besöka Siciliens populäraste turistmål, som nyligen om möjligt blev ännu mer känt genom den andra säsongen av Vita Lotus Sicilien. Under Taorminaturen i Corso Umberto kommer du att fascineras av en explosion av färger, ljud och smaker som är typiska för Sicilien. Missa inte kyrkor, antika byggnader och exklusiva butiker, samt fantastiska vyer för att ta fantastiska bilder! Taormina och Castelmola turen kommer att bli en oförglömlig och multi-sensorisk upplevelse.

Corso Umberto är huvudgatan i Taormina
Piazza Duomo ligger i Taorminas historiska centrum och är mötesplatsen där besöket på Corso Umberto I, huvudgatan, börjar.
Fontänen är byggd i barockstil och har sitt namn "4 fontäner" från de fyra små kolonnerna som ligger vid de fyra hörnen av den centrala kroppen och som övertygas av fyra seeprästar från vars mun kom vattnet som slutade i brickorna nedan .
Palazzo Ciampoli var ett ståtligt residens i katalansk stil.
Katedralen Fortress, som katedralen i Taormina definierades, byggdes runt 1400 på ruinerna av en liten kyrka från medeltiden och tillägnad San Nicola di Bari.
Tillsammans med den tredje väggen, vars rester fortfarande är synliga på höger sida upp till slottet, avgränsades den del av staden som definierades som "femtonde århundradet by".
Piazza IX Aprile är Taorminas mest eleganta "vardagsrum". Karaktäristiska är utomhusbarerna och artisterna som målar porträtt och landskap.
Denna kyrka ligger nära Torre dell'orologio, med utsikt över IX April-torget.
Kyrkan stiger på ruinerna av Odeon, byggd också på ruinerna av en grekisk teater tillägnad afroditen

Our tour was seamless. We loved our guide Pepe. Our driver was great making us feel safe through the very windy and steep roads. I would highly recommend this tour to all cruise passengers.
Our guide Sara, far exceeded our expectations! Her passion and knowledge of Messina, Taormina and Castelmola helped us understand the culture, history and sites of Sicily. Sara made the tour fun and interesting and kept our 20 & 17 year olds attention. She also personalized our experience and answered many questions and provided recommendations for places to eat and things to try. If you book a tour of Sicily I highly recommend asking for Sara.
Very well organized tour for cruise passengers
Very nice excursion. Easy to meet up with leader Maririta, who was a delight. She was engaging and entertaining. Taormina was a very nice upscale town with lots of expensive shops and restaurants. Castelmola was a very small town, further up the mountain with great views. My wife ended this very much. Transportation was comfortable in a 20 passenger bus
Absolutely Wonderful Tour — Mariarita Was Amazing! What a fantastic day exploring Castelmola and Taormina! From beginning to end, this small-group tour was such a wonderful experience. Our guide, Mariarita, was absolutely amazing! She was fun, energetic, incredibly informative, and so personable. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she had a wonderful way of sharing the history and culture of Sicily while keeping everything relaxed, entertaining, and enjoyable. You could truly tell how much she loves what she does. We also had such a great group, which made the day even more special. Beautiful scenery, charming towns, lots of laughs, and wonderful company — it was one of those days you just don’t want to end. Castelmola and Taormina were breathtaking, but Mariarita truly made the experience unforgettable. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic day!

Pick up seamless, easy and a huge smile directly off the cruise ship in Messina port. Immediately felt we had made the right choice thanks to the welcome and introduction of the day from our guide Mariarita. Both destinations were wonderful, and Mount Etna was one of the highlights of our whole cruise. A brilliant trip, made into a 5 star experience by Mariarita’s hospitality, heart, and perfect ability to deliver a wonderful experience for a very diverse group. Would highly recommend
This was a very interesting tour with beautiful views. The tour guide provided tons of information. The meetup point was well organized and easy. We did find the free time in Taormina excessive. Nearly 3 hours in the hot August sun was way too much.
We had a wonderful tour with Serena as our guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Our driver amazing maneuvering those crazy narrow and winding roads! We would recommend this tour to those coming off cruise ships for the day.
Stress free meet, greet and immediately picked up from gate 5 at the cruise terminal. Claudio, a very friendly and knowledgeable guide looked after us well and gave us enough commentary along the way to each destinations. He takes you to all the best photographic spots with enough time to relax in each destination. Book the extra visit to the ancient open air theatre (14 euros each) and Claudio will treat you to an opera performance that echos through the theatre- he was fantastic and received much applause from other tourists. You’ll arrive back at the port 1.5 hours before sail away, so enough time to visit the city centre before you disembark.
