Simon was an outstanding guide. He was patient and explained everything about taking photos very well.
Simon had very generously gifted a tour to raise money for a charity and I was lucky enough to win it! We met exactly as planned and I had a great few hours in his company. Some of the photographic tips were reminders about using what's in a location to enhance photos. Others were new to me and I'll certainly be looking at pavements in a different way now! There was useful info on reflections and both losing and using them and Simon also threw in titbits of info about Bath as we went. Getting photos sent through on email after the tour was not something I expected and acts as a great reminder of the techniques. I'd definitely recommend this tour so you can be able to use your camera more confidently. It wasn't too fast to understand and individual help was always available. Thank You, Simon.

What a brilliant experience! Simon was so informative and friendly, I can't believe how much I learned and saw an instant improvement in my pictures by just changing angles, and getting more creative. I can't recommend highly enough, and can't wait to put it all into practice!

We recently joined this photography walking tour with Simon in Bath and it was a fantastic experience. The photographer was incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about both photography and the city itself. What really stood out was the way he encouraged us to look at composition differently—finding unique angles, interesting details, and creative perspectives that we would never have noticed on our own. His ideas and guidance helped us see images in a completely new way and pushed us to be more creative with every shot. We learned so much throughout the tour, while also thoroughly enjoying every minute of it. It was relaxed, inspiring, and suitable for all levels of photography. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bath who wants to improve their photography skills and experience the city from a fresh perspective. why can't i give 6 out of 5? The experience was definitely worth it! 2 full hours exploring Bath (which we thought we knew well) taught us how to look at the city differently- and we came away with some amazing pictures.
