Fun, informative, expensive (given there are free walking tours) but we had a lovely first trip to Bath exploring. Did raise an eyebrow when the tour guide said a historical figure had had ‘a massive Paddy’ when he didn’t get his way… might want to do some research on that phrase and not use it again. Maybe put in the find your guide info that they are holding a green and white umbrella as the area we were due to meet was soooooo busy.
Very expensive but when in bath
We were booked onto the 4pm tour and found this to be a perfect time as the sun wasn’t as strong and there were fewer people around than had been earlier in the day. Our guide, Luke, was knowledgeable and engaging - sharing a good amount of history and background in an amusing manner without going too deep and losing the audience. We had the Roman bath tickets package where we visited the site at the end of the tour and used the audio guides to explore the exhibition at our own pace. A nice surprise to the Baths visit was the acoustic music and bar by the main pool which made for a very pleasant start to a chilled evening before heading to dinner.
Daniel was knowledgeable and easy to talk to during the tour. Was easy to book. Could use clearer instructions as to where to meet the guide.
The guide was excellent really enthused and very knowledgeable.
we were a group of five we really enjoyed this walking tour. George was very entertaining and delivered all the facts and interesting historical points with a smile also to bear in mind the bath spa was completely booked up. we booked up the tickets additionally through this walking tour.
John was our guide and was fantastic. Excellent commentary and pace. Helped us appreciate the area. Bath city center has a good deal of places to see.
Georges was an excellent guide and we spent a very pleasant hour and a half discovering Bath, its secrets, and its history. I recommend it
John is an amazing tour guide!!! He is very knowledgeable. This was such an amazing walking tour they gives you the history of Bath! Personally I think the bath tour add (almost $50) in is over priced and not worth the entry charge but the walking tour part is very worth the money!
George was a great tour guide, his recommendation for The Raven was spot on, too.
