Kevin, the driver/guide was excellent. Pace of trip was fine. Enjoyed the Cotswolds!
What a fabulous day out. Not only was Bill from Mad Max Tours knowledgeable about the area, he was thoroughly entertaining adding to the pleasure of the whole trip. If you're heading to the Cotswolds, this type is a must.
Bill was a great tour guide! He had lots of information to share including personal stories, history of the area, and interesting facts. The stops on the trip all had different feels and this trip was a great way to get a feel for the Cotswolds while not having to worry about renting a car and driving.
Nice visit to all the villages. Got to see what Cotswolds is all about. It was a beautiful day also help.
It was relaxing and fun. We got time in four towns to explore, eat, shop, etc. Tge scenery along the way was iconic. Chris S. was our tour guide and he did a great job!
Our tour with Christian on June 5th was great. Christian was extremely informative, funny, and full of fabulous information. I also respected that he made one of our patrons aware that she needs to respect our time because she was always late back from our stops. Apparently the seats are assigned (which we did not know, were not told this). We switched seats at one point during the tour, which caused a fuss amongst the other van patrons. We thought it was silly that they were all gossiping behind our back about us changing seats. We mentioned this to Christian and he explained that the seats are assigned. As soon as we learned this we went right back to our original seat. We are all adults here and it was ridiculous how much of a kerfuffle everybody was in. So fair warning, stay in the seat you start with!
This was a great trip to different villages in the Cotswolds. My guide was Kevin and he did an excellent job of explaining each place we went. This is a good way to see a lot of the Cotswolds in one day.
Perfect use of time. Loved Marlesbury the most. Lots to do in 9 hours. Sean (?) laid back, very informative and pleasant. Wonderful experience
Most fantastic tour. Beautiful stops, tons of photo ops and extremely scenic countryside along the drive to get there and back. Our guide Bill was a pleasant and knowledgeable guide, and interjected fun facts and humor all day. We just came off a cruise doing 10 different tours and Bill blew all the other tour guides away. Thank you, Bill!
Lovely day out, excellent driver/guide. Many benefits to having a smaller coach in this area and the amount of time felt sufficient at each stop. One stop on the itinerary wasn’t visited or mentioned however; did not see Montecalme Abbey.
