Denna mattur är som en historielektion genom mat. Följ med mig, en lokal i Prag och andra matälskare från hela världen och låt mig ta dig en resa från traditionell till modern tjeckisk mat. Vi kommer att besöka 4-5 olika pubar, restauranger, kaféer och barer och jag ska förklara varför vi tjecker äter det vi äter. Jag kommer att prata om min barndom när jag växte upp i Prag, hur det var att leva under det kommunistiska styret och svara på alla dina frågor. Vi kommer också att prata om turistfällor, vad du inte ska göra i Prag och jag kommer att ge dig massor av tips och rekommendationer inte bara för Prag, utan dina framtida resmål. För vi vet alla hur dålig mat kan förstöra din semester.

Vi börjar vår mattur i gamla stan där vi äter mer traditionell tjeckisk mat. Mellan allt ätande och drickande går vi till vårt nästa stopp och jag kommer att prata om tjeckisk historia, arkitektur och mina personliga erfarenheter av att bo i Tjeckien.
Vi kommer att besöka Vaclavplatsen och jag kommer att prata om vårt kommunistiska förflutna och Tjeckiens demokratiska nutid. Vi kommer in på politik och religion, men bara om du insisterar och efter ett par öl ;)
Vi kommer att besöka lokala och kommande stadsdelar som Karlin eller Vinohrady och prata om det nuvarande livet i Prag och Tjeckien. Vi kommer att diskutera utbildning, sjukvård och mammaledighet samtidigt som vi tar en drink och äter guilty pleasures.

Food choices were excellent and tailored to our group. He is very personable and has a strong knowledge of the culture and history, which we greatly appreciated. Martin has an expansive knowledge of food styles and preparation and can provide recommendations of places to try based on your interests and preferences. The tour felt well paced, thoughtfully organized, and gave us a much better sense of Prague beyond the typical tourist experience. We left full, learned a great deal, and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city.
Great personalized experience with local and traditional Czech food! He was very knowledgeable about the history and tied it into the food experience. He tailored the experience to our preferences and made other recommendations for our trip. I would highly recommend!
We learned about and enjoyed classic dishes. Our guide, Martin, took us to a pub, restaurants and wine bar where we got to experience a variety of foods. We learned about the origin of the dishes and tips on how best to spend our time in Prague. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Prague!

Wonderful food tour! Martin showed us to 4 places where we enjoyed both traditional and modern Czech food and drink and ended with some coffee and dessert. Martin shared Czech history, sprinkled in current events, and he answered all our questions throughout. He was an amazing local guide with such pride for his country. Highly, highly recommend this tour. Come hungry!
We had a great time with Martin in Prague! He took us to 5 different places for traditional Czech food and beverages, while providing a lot of background and history on Czech customs. The portions were large and everything was delicious. We also walked a bit in between stops and he gave us some history and stories along the way. I highly recommend this tour!
What a stupendous tour with Martin. Martin showed us the best food and drink in Praha. We appreciated Martin's extensive knowledge of history, culture and all things culinary and his great sense of humor. Spending s day in meat-centric Praha with a butcher with as added plus. Our tour with Martin was excellent in every way. Just tell him what you want and he will tailor everything to your needs. In our case it was Czech food and beer. We all really enjoyed getting to know him over the course of the tour. 10 of 10 stars!
Martin took us on the most delicious food tour, highly recommend! We got to try some new things and everything was high quality. You will certainly get your money's worth and then some. Food, beer, coffee, lemonade, desserts were all so yummy. We also learned a lot about the city and its history and got to see a lot of areas. Martin went out of his way to give us lots of recommendations (and traps to avoid), he was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend booking this tour at the beginning of your visit - thank you for a wonderful experience, Martin!
