Vi börjar vår resa i det som ursprungligen var ett arbetarkvarter, som nu är en av Prags trendigaste platser. Dess industriella charm gör den till en av de mest unika. En pulserande blandning av alternativa kulturella knutpunkter och många bistroer, kaféer och restauranger finns i området. Valmöjligheterna är oändliga!
Att besöka Libeřské lahůdky känns som att besöka din tjeckiska mormor. Detta familjeägda företag har passionerat tillverkat traditionella tjeckiska kakor, smörgåsar och andra delikatesser i över 30 år. Du kommer att sluka deras flaggskeppsprodukt, som staden håller på att bli galen i.

Vad Pragborna har drömt om i decennier är nu verklighet: en gångbro förbinder två trendiga stadsdelar. Den eleganta moderna arkitekturen kompletterar sömlöst Prags historiska skyline. Var bland de första att korsa den här bron och kanske till och med ta ett snabbt dopp i floden på ön Štvanice?
Efter en stor översvämning förvandlades detta före detta getto till den charmiga stadsdelen Karlin, nu känd som hipsters håla. Och den lokala gastronomin? Helt enkelt för gott för att motstå.
Kyrkan av heliga Cyril och Methodius är en av de största religiösa strukturerna på 1800-talet i Tjeckien. Byggt i mitten av 1800-talet, står det som ett av de viktigaste arkitektoniska landmärkena i den nyromanska stilen.
Förr marscherade hundratals soldater hit; idag är det en plats för nöje och avkoppling. Dessa baracker har blivit en favoritplats för besökare över generationer. De främsta attraktionerna finns på den centrala innergården, med en gigantisk sandlåda, utomhusbio, minitorn, bar, bastu och beachvolleybollplan. I området där den ursprungliga militärbassängen stod hittar du nu ett elegant café. Garagen har förvandlats till en musikklubb och ett fantastiskt galleri.

Authentic Prague Food Tour If you want to get a sampling of what the locals eat and drink in Prague and an overview of the city while you’re doing it, this tour is for you! Tomàs was an outstanding guide and we enjoyed his company as well as his expertise. This was a great beginning to our stay in Prague. Drinking wine on the sidewalk outside a local wine spot with the snow falling was a highlight!

Thomas was great, we met and we were immediately immersed in Prague's rich history and delightful delicacies. From the beer and wine to the meats, cheeses and garlic stuffed peppers, the entire time we were together was full of laughter and delight. Tomas, took us to some unique food stops and made sure we got to know a lot about traditional Czech food. He was also very knowledgeable about the culture and gave us a great insight into daily life. Great walking and food tour! We had already tried a lot of local food, but we tried new stuff and learned about its role in culture, parties, family. Tomáš was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were in a nice neighborhood but it wasn’t touristy. The whole experience felt authentic. Definitely recommend Tomáš and the experience

Tomas was a great host. We meandered from place to place trying Czech delicacies we would never have found on our own. He told us stories as an accompaniment to the food that shared the local culture and history. With a good sense of humor and perspective we finished our sojourn with full bellies, an appreciation for the broad spectrum of Czech food and a palate appreciative of the local beverages.
