Leona was a wonderful guide for our 4 hour food tour of Prague. We visited four locations as we walked through Old and New Town. There was a great variety of food and it was all delicious! Leona was very informative about Czech history and culture and gave personalized recommendations for future touring and dining in the area. Highly recommended!
Leona‘s Food Tour was one of the highlights of our visit to Prague. Not only was the food fantastic but she was an amazing resource of history - and very personable! Highly recommend!
Fantastic walking Tour of Prague with multiple food and drink stops. Our guide Jiří (George) was excellent - patient, knowledgeable and full of interesting tidbits about Czech history and culture to make the walks go by quickly. Food at all 4 stops was excellent as well - entirely local cuisine. Highly recommended if you enjoy food & walking tours.
George was fantastic guiding our diverse group through interesting Czech foods and culture. Very enjoyable!
George, otherwise known as Little George, provided a wonderful food tour including several establishments removed from the busy streets filled with tourists. His selection was a beautiful representation of the flavors of Prague. However, the tour included so much more than just merely food. George was welcoming, personable and friendly. He shared not only a historical perspective of Prague but also included personal insights about today’s culture. His understanding of the differences of our experiences (USA) and life in Prague brought out interesting topic after topic: religion, taxes, healthcare, Czech name days (it’s a real thing, check it out), and of course, food. Highly recommend a tour with George, you won’t be disappointed!!
Our family of 5 adults did this tour with Jirik (or George as he introduces himself to the Americans) and we all agreed that this was the best all-round tour in our two weeks in Europe! We got to try so many different traditional Czech foods, plus we learned so much about their history and culture - it was like two tours in one. We had so many questions about life as a Czech citizen, both during and after Communism, and he happily answered everything quite honestly. Best beef tartare we’ve ever had was on this tour! We tried some local alcohols (looking at you Becherovka), plus we all walked away with some local phrases and a very basic understanding of their naming customs. Do this tour and ask for Jirik!
A really excellent, high standard tour. The food was top notch aswell as all the places we visited for beers and food. George was an excellent host - very well organised, knowledgeable and fun too. It is probably best to miss breakfast on the day before the tour, leaving room for all the very nice goods you are going to be introduced to. Thank you to you George for the knowledgeable and interactive day!
Leona was an outstanding guide: fun, personable, and highly knowledgable. We learned so much about Prague and Czechia more broadly. The food stops on the tour were terrific - everything was delicious!
The Delicious Prague Food Tour was THE HIGHLIGHT of our time in Prague. We tasted local pastries, visited a Soviet era beer hall (where we learned that there is more than one way to pour a beer in Prague!) dined on an amazing multi course meal in a stunning restaurant, and we’re treated to desserts that we’re surely made in heaven (or by someone’s Czech Grandma) Leona our guide was an absolute delight. This young woman is charming, knowledgeable about all things Prague and had us in and out of busy restaurants with precision and admirable organization. Don’t miss this opportunity when you visit Prague!
Leona was absolutely incredible. The four food spots were so good and we learned so much at each restaurant about the food of Prague. I do want to say that this was so much more than just food, Leona told us about the area, the people and the unbelievable history of the Czech Republic. If you get a chance please take this tour.
