Därifrån sätter vi segel för att utforska den fängslande Mostraum tidvattenströmmen, med enastående utsikt från pontonens rymliga däck. Våga in i områden som är otillgängliga för större fartyg, bevittna de hisnande Hesjedalsfossen tvillingvattenfallen och den orörda Veafjorden, orörd av vägar. Efter fyra timmars utforskande återvände vi till kajen direkt vid tågstationen, som gav enkel tillgång tillbaka till Bergens centrum på bara 40 minuter med tåg. Vår erfarna chaufför hämtar dig från ditt hotell och tar dig längs Osterfjordens strand till det främsta området där vi är redo för dig att gå ombord.

Our tour guide was awesome and the scenery is spectacular. however, we came in on the Ritz Carlton yacht collection and they picked us up at the port but when the sightseeing on the boat ended, they gave us a ticket voucher for the train and told us to walk to the train station where we waited 30 minutes for the train, then had a 45 minute train ride with no directions then we had a 30 minute walk from the train station back to our cruise ship. This was extremely unexpected and I wish we had known that and we could've made arrangements. I highly recommend taking this trip though.

I would like to clarify for future guests that the return journey by train is clearly described in the tour listing, both in the itinerary and in the “What’s Included” section, where it is stated that train tickets back to Bergen are provided. This has always been part of the experience, and many guests enjoy the scenic ride along the fjord as a relaxing end to the day. We can’t control whether this detail is read before booking, but we do our best to make it visible and to remind guests in advance. For cruise passengers, we always recommend checking walking distances from the train station to the ship, as this can vary depending on where the vessel is docked. I’m grateful you still found the tour worth recommending, and I hope the rest of your journey in Norway was equally memorable. I hope you see that a rating of 3 stars on something that is not our fault is maybe a bit wrong?? This is a great experience in the inner fjords around Bergen. Bjorn shared interesting information and stories about the history of the area and of Norway in general. Our family of three (2 adults and an 8 year-old) really enjoyed how peaceful it was to cruise along the fjords away from all the tourists in Bergen — and the pontoon boat has comfortable chairs.

This tour was so amazing I do not even know where to begin. The view was amazing, the wine was amazing, and the tour guide, Bjørn, was even better. He is knowledgeable, lighthearted, and an overall great person. I highly recommend booking this trip if you are coming to Bergen or even make a detour to Bergen just for this trip! We will definitely be back!

This was a highlight of the trip to Bergen. A very nice way to see the fjords. Everyone loved it! Only one way of transportation is included by a driver and the other way you have to train which was a little confusing for a private tour but it was very easy to navigate. Bring snacks and drinks to enjoy while you are onboard
Dear Kimberly...... To be able to do this as a one way tour where you'll never see one thing twice we are utilizing the railway for the morning return 😁. This way we are able to keep the price down in an expensive destination as well as touring in a sustainable manner. We visited Bergen for two days with our teens and wanted to guarantee a fantastic fjord experience before driving to Odda. We found Bjorn online and chose a private, personal and local experience vs. the tourism ships. What a great day! Bjorn had us driven to his location and spent over four hours teaching us about his area, heritage and life in Norway. His tour was relaxing and interesting at once. We enjoyed wine and local seafood. I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. Thank you Bjorn!

This private cruise was an attempt to salvage our DIY "Norway in a Nutshell" tour when the ferry cancelled one of their trips. It turned out to be a favorite activity in our entire 10 day vacation. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to really see the area without the crowds of people that are on the trains and ferries. Bjorn worked with me to manage a trip that fit into our existing schedule - even when our train was delayed 1/2 hr. he made sure we got to see as much as possible of the beautiful Sognefjord and still make it back for the returning train. Bjorn, Hanne and Robert made the 6 of us feel welcomed, comfortable, informed, and entertained. They had blankets and cushions, hot fresh coffee or tea and freshly baked cinnamon rolls. We moved in and out of the boat, from the top to the bottom as the weather and our wishes dictated throughout the tour. While travelling the fjord, in addition to looking at and learning about the fjord and the surrounding area, we talked about anything and everything. Truly a unique and wonderful experience.
