Beskrivning
Följ med oss på denna 4-timmarsutflykt till den fantastiska Briksdalsglaciären. Efter att ha kört genom den lilla byn Olden fortsätter vi på väg till Briksdal. Vi kör genom Oldendalen och passerar den vackra sjön Olden. När vår buss når Briksdals Värdshus kan du börja vandringen mot Briksdalsglaciären, som är en av många armar av den berömda Jostedalsglaciären. Vandringen upp till Briksdalsglaciären tar dig genom ett vackert landskap omgivet av vattenfall och berg. Slutligen kommer du till utsiktsplatsen vid glaciärens sjö. Den första delen av vandringen är den svåraste, och det blir gradvis lättare. Vandringen till glaciären tar normalt cirka 45-60 minuter.

Great experience.
Moderate effort hike up to the lake with great views along the way. The path is well prepared, 1.65 miles up and back with around 550’ of elevation gain.

Well worth the visit.
Coach boarding a bit disorganised , due to the late arrival of the guide. Excellent commentary on the coach. Stunning hike to the Glacier with amazing views. Not too strenuous to walk. Incredible glacier and well worth the visit.

What a rip off!
This was an absolute rip off. My first viator experience and this "tour" was just a very expensive bus ride to the free public glacier park. For $100+ per person, there was ZERO added value on the bus and when we got there he said, "see you in 2 hours". You can just take the bus for the same amount of time (and a lot less money) and explore on your own just the same. There's no special area that they take you to. It's already all open to the public and the glacier was absolutely gorgeous and free. To charge for this is despicable. On top of this, the guide himself, Denim, made distasteful, uncomfortable sexist remarks and he didn't even help people find the bus. Super disappointed in this entire experience.

Beautiful scenery-would not skip this one!
Amazing tour, great guide. The hike is a bit strenuous but the payoff to the glacial lake is worth it!

Birksdal glacier, beautiful nature walk
Punctual back delivery of the appointments.clear info and very friendly reception by Denim the guide and Peter the driver. During the bus ride to the glacier, Denim told us all the necessary facts about our destination and about Norway in general. He delivered this smoothly and with the necessary humor.

Well Worth the Money
We have now done this excursion twice direct. That is far cheaper than going through the cruise line. All is well organised, the bus picks you up by the ship and delivers you back there after you have walked up to the glacier. A recording on the bus tells you about the scenery as you travel to the glacier, then gives you clear instructions on arrival. The walk itself takes about 45 minutes and is not too strenuous. I have asthma and did it easily. If anything the walk back down is harder on the knees as there are one or two very steep areas. The troll cars would be a waste of money for anyone able bodied. The trip is well worth it. The scenery is awesome and unspoilt and each time we have done this walk we have seen something dffferent.

Incredible hike to the glacier
This tour provided amazing views of the mountains and waterfalls. The hike up to the glacier is gorgeous. Worth it!

It was a good way to see the countryside but just average tour
The start was somewhat disorganized and we had to walk quite a distance through the town to the public parking lot for the bus. Once they found our bus, we took a scenic ride to our destination. It is an uphill climb so be prepared.
