Olden Shore Utflykt den fantastiska Briksdal Glacier

Again on our Norwegian cruise this is just about Olden not the tour.its nested at the southern end of the Nordfjord at the entrance to the Oldendale valley has superb coastline towering mountains and the biggest glacier on mainland Europe, Jostedalsbreen. We took a trip on a coach to the waterfall and rapids,it's expensive for a couple of hours but Norway definitely not a cheap place.make sure you have your credit card as no one seems to deal in cash,I have to say this was the highlight stop on the cruise

Everything was wonderful, very beautiful, very well explained, I don't remember the guide's name but she was a Spanish girl from Navarre and she was spectacular. A 10 for her

The walk up to the glacier was breathtaking, quite steep in places but not too difficult as the paths were very stable.

This one shouldn't be missed! Berta was an excellent guide and Norway Excursions made it so easy especially when our ship docked at Loen, not Olden. We were concerned about meeting up but they had two guides, one at each place(about 6 miles from each other). The scenery was spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed this tour. There is no need to go with the on board excursions when a company like this is handling the details. The icing on the cake was a delightful guide whom we really enjoyed meeting. Thank you, Norway Excursions for a most memorable day!

Amazing part of Norway. The town is so picturesque and the hike to the glacial lake is pleasant and not too difficult. They also have “troll cars” which are basically ATVs that you can take up or back for a fee a good option if mobility or strenuous exercise are issues for you. The guide was great and the bus transport took us by so many scenic areas on the way to the glacier park. The bus was super- almost brand new. Great place to visit and take a hike.

Good tour. Pickup and drop-off is at the pier just where you disembark. I booked a separate Troll car to coincide with the timing of this tour. Overall everything worked great. Views are terrific!

Very kind, cheerful guide during the bus transport with many interesting infos. Back we asked to stop in the city and they did where the bus was able to stop. The stop is not easy on this way. Beatiful breathtaking places, no animal, we had perfect weather. I offer it everybody. If you are with wheelchair I think you can have a trollcar at the glacier to see this beautiful place - about 3-400 NOK. Important: norvergian trips has NO weather garanty and you are able to cancel it just 1 day before. That would be fine if norvegian trip companies will find out another plan for bad weather, for example to have free norvegian waffle if you cannot see anything. Usually norvegian do not care so much, it a little price form them, but we have saved a lot of money to see Norvay once!

the company is very responsive and makes it easy to find them.They actually waited for us when our cruise was late arriving and started the tour later! Very accomodating
