När du går av från fartyget kommer jag att vänta på dig vid gate 5 på kryssningsterminalen. Härifrån börjar vi vår resa till Savoca som tar cirka 1 timme med bil
När vi anländer till konststaden Savoca, en liten by där många scener från filmen "The Godfather" av Fred Francis Coppola spelades in, stannar vi vid Vitelli-baren, känd för att vara baren i filmen, där den kommer att vara möjligt att smaka en typisk siciliansk granita. Ett annat stopp på vår turné kommer att vara kyrkan "Santa Maria in cielo Assunta" som vi också hittar i några utdrag av filmen som t.ex. bröllopet mellan Michael Corleone och Apollonia.
När du anländer till Castelmola kan du beundra en av de vackraste byarna i Italien och smaka mandelvin på den berömda Bar Turrisi, känd för sina fallosdekorationer. Dessa symboler ska inte betraktas som vulgära, utan snarare som symboler för fertilitet, välstånd och frihet enligt den grekiska kulturens idéer. Du får också möjlighet att smaka mandelvin och utsökt siciliansk cannoli.
Det sista stoppet på vår turné blir Taormina. Vi kommer till Piazza San Pancrazio, där resenärer kommer att göra sin rundtur och kommer att kunna besöka de karakteristiska gatorna i Corso Umberto, beundra de vackra landskapen och gå till den grekisk-romerska teatern i Taormina (kostnaden för entrébiljetten är exkluderad från turnéns pris).
När vår turné är över kommer vi att återvända till Messina, men innan vi tar dig till fartyget tar vi dig på en rundtur i stadens historiska centrum, där det kommer att vara möjligt att beundra några av de viktigaste attraktionerna som panorama av Kristus kungen, katedralen i Messina och den mycket berömda klockastronomiska mekanikern i vår stad.

Mötesplatsen kommer att vara vid kryssningsterminalen, vid utgången från gate 5. Där kommer jag att vara, Fulvio, din chaufför, och vänta på dig med en skylt med ditt namn på. Väl tillsammans börjar din turné. Turerna börjar vanligtvis kl. 08.00 och slutar kl. 16.00 beroende på fartygets ankomsttid och avgångstid.

Marisa and Fulvio, our guide and driver were phenomenal. Marisa was extremely knowledgable and shared so much information about each of the places we visited as well as the history of Sicily over many years. She was very bubbly and had a great sense of humour. We were treated to local wine and a cannolo during our visit to Castlemola. She brought Sicily to life for us, a truly special trip we will never forget. We would highly recommend this trip. We were picked up and dropped off at our cruise ship and well looked after throughout the day. Communication prior and during the trip was excellent.
We had an absolutely delightful 10/10 day with the wonderful Marisa! She was an excellent guide on all locations, offering us insight into the people, food, culture, language and sites of Sicily! Our group loved her casual style and laid-back approach as we navigated all the areas, yet left us time to shop, grab a drink, and fellowship together. WE APPRECIATE YOU MARISA! Great job!

We felt it was good value for money being a full day tour. We visited Savoca, Castelmola & Taormina as well as the town centre of Messina. The tour and organisation. Of the day was well thought out and a good mix of visiting all of the iconic and beautiful places as well as a little free time to explore. You cover a lot of ground in this tour. Coming into Messina you will have about a 1 hour drive to Savoca.

Fabrizio was the best tour guide I have ever had and I have been doing this a very long time! He went over and above the tour that was supposed to be! He was so informative and so willing to show us everything about the Messina area in Sicily! I would recommend him again and again ! Our tour with Fabrizio was the best tour we’ve ever had. He tailored it to our family and gave local advice that was priceless. He took us to Savoca, Taormina, and Castlemola. He showed us secret spots that most tours wouldn’t know about. We saw Catacombs, local churches, lookout points, with amazing views, and ruins. He recommended the best local restaurant and snacks. He made sure to take the scenic route and explain all of the local areas, legends and history. At the end, he bought us almond wine and cannolis. It was an amazing experience that our family will never forget 💕
The driver and guide met us right at the port. Communication as awesome. Our tour guide, Marissa, was AMAZING!!! She was fun, funny, accommodating, well spoken and an all-around perfect guide. Fulvio met us at each destination and was also a great guy. I VERY HIGHLY recommend this tour. The towns we visited were spectacular. My mother had mobility issues and they were even accommodating to those needs. Great tour!!
Fulvio and Aurora were our guides on this private tour for 7 of us. Every one of us enjoyed it very much. Both Fulvio and Aurora took the best care and explained things very well. The sites were amazing and with their expert guidance we were able to see everything we wanted to see. Fulvio is a precise driver and also full of knowledge with the best manner. Aurora was a delight to each one of us, personalizing information to our taste. Wish we had more time because we didn’t want it to end!!! Highly recommended 😀👍🏻‼️
