Klockan 8:50 möter vår engelsktalande guide dig framför Lyon Office de Tourisme-byggnadens huvudentrédörr som ligger på Bellecour Square (50 m mittemot Le Royal Hotel). Efter en kort promenad kommer deltagarna att sätta sig på den 8-sitsiga minivanen för att påbörja utflykten.
Börja morgonen med att utforska Beaujolais som anses vara Frankrikes vackraste vinregion och upptäck den okända skönheten i Golden Stones Country. Stanna till i staden Châtillon d'Azergues för att beundra 1200-talets slott omgivna av dess murar.
Korsa sedan flera medeltida städer byggda i ockrafärgade stenar, inklusive städerna Chessy Les Mines och Bagnols. Besök den vackra pittoreska byn Oingt listad bland de 157 vackraste towins i Frankrike. Gå på huvudgatan, besök Saint Mathieu-kyrkan och njut av panoramautsikt över fantastiska landskap med böljande kullar prickade med vingårdar.
Tryck på dörren till en familjevingård och fördjupa dig i historia, "terroir" och tradition i möte med vinmakaren själv. Njut av en privat vingårdsinspektion, lär dig om vinframställningsprocessen och vinprova flera Beaujolais inklusive vita, rosé och röda viner i en vänlig atmosfär.
Vid lunch kan du njuta av en utsökt måltid i en typisk Beaujolais "bistrot" restaurang som serverar regionala rätter. Vår guide kommer gärna att översätta och förklara alla olika kurser för dig! Menyer från € 20 / person, ingår INTE.
På eftermiddagen, efter en 45 minuters bilfärd, upptäck Pérouges medeltida stad, en "måste se"-attraktion som får dig att resa tillbaka till medeltiden! Gå längs kullerstensgator och uppskatta arkitekturen i antika hus från XIII till XVI-talet. Lär dig om fransk historia när du upptäcker denna unika miljö som används flera gånger för bakgrundsfilmer inklusive de 3 musketörerna. Äntligen njut av 30 minuters ledig tid: promenera genom små hantverkssouvenirbutiker eller prova den lokala specialitetspannkakan som kallas "galette" (ingår ej i turnén).
Klockan 17.15 kommer vår guide att köra dig tillbaka till Lyon och släppa av på Bellecour Square framför Lyon Office de Tourisme. Slut på en vacker dag!

We had a fantastic time with Oliver our guide. He was funny and most engaging. The wine tasting was so informative and excellent in taste. The whole experience was excellent value
Fantastic time of year to explore "the most beautiful villages of France!" Gorgeous buildings, wineries, food, ruins & shops. Bring your walking shoes, Google Translate (for the parking instructions and church explanations), and clothing layers. With only one exception, everyone was fantastically (sp?) NICE!! We had a lovely time wandering and learning. Highly recommend!!
Such an enjoyable day! From the outset, Sebastian made the tour interesting and fun. Despite the rain in the morning, we enjoyed the journey through the besujolais countryside and pretty villages. It was great to get a bit of history and geography as well as info about the vibes, setting the ei es into context. We tasted some some fabulous wines, all before lunch (!)especially the reds at the Chateau du Faux, the family vineyard. Lunch was excellent and inexpensive (more wine there toi). Perougyes, the final village on the way home, was gorgeous and full of medieval charm. 10/10 for this tour and the best guide we could have wished for! Loved it! Many thanks, Gill and Christine,

Sebastian our guide was superb. We saw and experienced much of Beaujolais and learnt much about the wines of the region . The drive was comfortable

It was a long day. The small towns were pretty quiet, very few shops open. The family owned vineyard was the highlight, meeting and interacting with the owner. The lunch stop was enjoyable, great menu choices and delicious.

Sebastian made this a wonderful experience. The instructions were clear on where to meet and he explained the events for the day. We headed out in a van from Lyon to Beaujolais. We first visited the town of Oingt, then headed to a winery, then on to Sebastian's family winery, lunch in a small near by town and closed out the day by visiting another medival town, Pérouges. Sebastian shared facts and history of each town as well as information about Lyon so, when we returned to Lyon, we were able to check out a few areas on our own that he had mentioned. I highly recommend booking a tour with Sebastian. He is knowledgable not only about Beaujolais, its wine, but also the history of the area and Lyon.

Oliver is a fantastic guide, very relaxed and accommodating, even did an extra stop so two girls on our tour could get breakfast. Loved the two wineries we visited and the restaurant he chose for lunch. Also visited Oingt as well as Perouges. Highly recommend this tour

I just loved this day. We had a great group of people on our bus, Oliver was amazing, he gave us lots of interesting information and looked after us beautifully. We did 2 medieval villages and 2 wineries with generous pours of wine. It’s a long day but it’s really is perfect. We also stopped for a delicious lunch in Marcy. This was the most picturesque, joyful day and my husband and I just loved it. Thank you Oliver for a wonderful tour - I highly recommend this tour if you are in Lyon.

A very fun day with Sebastian- the highlight was visiting his family's winery and learning more about Beaujolais. We also got to see backroads and small towns that we would not have had the opportunity to see if we had been with a large tour. An amazing lunch, two wine tastings and a nap in the van on the way back. Would highly recommend!
