Great experience. All the hosts were very friendly and made the experience very enjoyable. All the attending guests were also very friendly. Only feedback to the team would be to provide a little more protein in the paella. It was a lot of rice but light on the protein.

It’s a great way to get to know other travelers, enjoy a “hands on” cultural experience, eat/drink delicious Paella/Sangria, and return home with the recipes to recreate the Spanish experience!

Brilliant fun, great to get involved with making the sangria and learning how to do the paella properly, unlike the tourist traps who do it wrong with chorizo! Lovely group, good banter. Loved our hosts. Bit confusing to find - have to be clear you're meeting outside a tattoo parlour, not a cooking venue, but will be picked up there and walked a short way to the right place - all good in the end. Loved it!

Great fun experience, lovely paella and plenty of sangria. Fun way to spend an evening and Ivan and Krystal were great.

Happy, productive, and delicious learning experience with strangers who became our friends by the end of the evening. Thorough overview of the history, social contexts, and preparation of this classic Spanish dish. The sangria class was excellent; the final product was far above what we would find in the local ABC store back home.

It was fun. Meet lots of people. Miguel was lovely. Chief was very experienced and shared lots of tips. To was a shared cooking experience so you didn't cook your own paella. This was different to other cooking experiences I had done previously but still good.

A great (and social) introduction to making a proper paella. I am an enthusiastic home cook (a paella novice) and l learned some important techniques. The coordinator met us outside, brought our group (about fifteen people) up to the kitchen/classroom, and kept the evening running smoothly. The chef kept everyone entertained and involved, giving clear instructions along with a general theory of paella. The sangria was plentiful but not overpowering and the paella we cooked together was delicious. At the end of the class they shared group photos and Madrid travel tips. It was a warm, friendly, and satisfying evening.

Was a great experience. Hadil was great and taught us well to make Sangria and chef Miquel did a wonderful job engaging and teaching us all to make Paella. Enjoyed eating and drinking the results of fun time and recipes.
