We had a great time learning about and making the sangria and paella. Or two hosts were fun and knowledgeable.
It was just so fun . The people who had attended were great we all talked about where we came from . Food and Sangria was excellent . Our host was fantastic and very funny .
Great food and drinks! Guide was the best. Highly recommend!
An amazing experience! So well done. Unfortunately I don’t remember our teacher’s name (a French guy with perfect Spanish and very good English) was great. Lots of energy. The food was surprisingly good, not just the paella. Quality ingredients, and delicious seasonings. I would absolutely recommend this.
Booked this on the day itself, just 3 hours before the class — wouldn’t recommend it since you might not get a slot, but it worked out for me. Honestly, I just didn’t want to think about what to eat for dinner, wanted to learn something new, and thought it’d be a bonus if I met some cool people along the way. All three happened. The class was well-run and organised, no complaints. The paella was so good. And the group had such great energy, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re a solo traveller who enjoys cooking, just go for it — but book ahead, don’t do what I did.
Wonderful experience. The class was very fun and had a great explanation. Tony made the experience very entertaining, and we learned a lot about Spanish cooking. I am Spanish, and the paella was very good, and the recipes were traditional and authentic. I definitely recommend it. Everyone was very nice, and we had an incredible afternoon.
Tony taught the paella and sangria making class. He was professional, engaging, funny and taught us about the history and culture of Spain it was fantastic! I would totally do knit again and would highly recommend it. The food turned out amazing and the sangria as well as all the wines shared were great!

This was such a wonderful way to connect with the flavors of Madrid. Instead of just following a recipe, we learned the stories behind the ingredients and the rich history of the dish itself. It truly felt like a culinary journey. Perfect for anyone who wants an educational and heartfelt cooking experience.
We really enjoyed this cooking class. We each had the opportunity to make our own sangria to our liking and learning different variations and alternative ingredients that can be used. Instructors were thorough with the explanation of the cooking process and shared the history of paella. The paella was absolutely delicious, we also had small bites that included the traditional tortillas to patatas, my favorite!
